Unofficial reports says that P2P movie release group IMAGiNE were busted earlier this week.
According to Torrentfreak report it says that DiGiTALiNK who is a member of release group EP1C, told them that nine individuals were arrested following an Immigration and Customs Enforcement “joint operation.”
No one could confirm the Arrest as non of IMAGINE close associates is in reach to confirm the stories and the Hosting company of their website said they are not aware of any raid operation and no explanation was given on why the site was offline according to TorrentFreak report .
The IMAGiNE Group website UnleashTheNet,also known as UTN was launched last year and was suppose to be a secret place that is uneasy to find an invite for or access, and in the last couple of month they started accepting more and more members unlike their regular trends and it was just a few months earlier that they banned DiGiTALiNK as he was accused of giving information about their members to the authorities as a compromising deal he has made , and the authorities were watching a private FTP site of his (given by the feds as a bait ) that he offered to provide source free to members of the site ,and since then DiGiTALiNK declared a war on them claims reports.
In an email to TorrentFreak, DiGiTALiNK said that 9 people were arrested including IMAGiNE members Spunky, HoD, Jason, Tank, TheStash and Spangy, all of them live within the United States. but according to our sources Tank & Stuffies were not among the arrested members as they don’t live in the United States but they are unavailable to response to any communications attempts.
According to our sources the feds were behind IMAGiNE due to the fact they were involved in what is called commercial piracy wherein they provide latest pirated movies to certain buyers from few Asian countries who then make copies of the prints to be sold in the pirated movies market in Asia and that explains why they used to pay for sources so that they can get it first therefore it was not only about fame but also about money source claims.
IMAGiNE were known for releasing a movie every few days most of which are of their own sources and they have entertained P2P public and private sites all over for a very long time, their last movie was released on Sep 9th 2011 named The.Guard.2011.DVDSCR.XViD.AC3-IMAGiNE and nothing was heard from them after that.
The note in their last release reads in part of it : please be patient and watch your emails.HaHaHa the serpant lives on.!!!!!

Well, its seems to me, and you can see the difference lately, Imagine's quality has gone down hill seriously in the past few months... Something has definately been up with their releases, maybe the guys who formly did the best job just have had some real life issues before all this.... or they have just be seperating themselves in prep for an actual bust....
Whatever it is, they will surface soon, even Jail has internet...
we will see if it's true but i think is another antipiracy propaganda, thanks for article
Unhappy to see this in print and wish them all well....
I admired IMAGiNE and will greatly miss them.
The linked report in your read suggested that INK was the SNITCH and brought me to the following statement which I cut & past here: "I hope you rot in hell INK remember you are "known", hope the gov is treating you well."
Here in America we have the "Right To Remain Silent" but obviously, some don't have the ability....
ANY SNITCH DESERVES TO ROT IN HELL!!
Thanks in advance SaM for your updates on this sad situation. I admired IMAGiNE and already miss them.
Thats bad hope they are fine thanks for the hard efforts for the p2p community

Strange everyone can only make speculations about the raids yet this shady cheese eating rodent, DiGiTA-who?, boasts to have ALL-DA-FACTS about ppl that can't stand his a--. Hmmm we ask ourselves, "Now how is that??". Then, like a messy vindictive itch who just got burnt, she ..er I mean he, blabs ALL Imagine's business over the net (Yep, yep the same biz DiGiTA-who? was also in), smfh. Yes everyone, LOOK AT THIS "STUPID TRAITOR/ FAILING HYPOCRITE" SLIP ON HIS OWN SULFUR--His life must suck big time to play himself out on the internet. DiGiTA-girl better shake that love-jones off she has for Imagine lol

@CaptCosmo ..The Feds and most U.S city authorities haven't any respect for snitches who rat out their own associates-in-crime or friends. They go after them once their finished using them. I can only assume dude knew this which is why he dropped out the game in July
Good luck to them and thanxx even if they were selling to Asia you gotta make a buck somehow:)
This SUCKS of epic proportions. Imagine absolutely rocks and I pray to all deities that they are resurrected stronger than before.

Ive done jail and prison and let me tell you ALL inmate communications are limited, monitored, and recorded, Every single bit of information. I have to say that is the most retarded thing I have ever seen written in any forum. Honestly where do people get their information? Thin air, yes it has to be.|

Question should be, what's wrong with EP1C, why are they dropping a dime on IMAGiNE (to the Feds)?
EP1C last posted movie was June 16th?
There is something odd about all this!!
Here is a more complete story http://www.it-networks.org/2011/09/15/reports-feds-bust-imagine-movie-release-group/

@hacking_weapon kill yourself asswipe. IMAGINE was the most consistent P2P group out there, though all of the sourcers out there deserve the utmost respect. If you have an issue with IMAGINE you shouldn't even be on a site like this. Good luck to the IMAGINE crew. THX so much for everything you have done for us all. Keep your head up SafCUK. The information resistance will never die!!!
As safcuk009 has said i wouldnt beleive everything you hear, see on internet.IMAGINE will be back, very soon

ok.. I know of atleast 1 Medium security Federal Prison that has internet... Eglin AFB, FL... I used to be stationed there, I picked the guys up for work details and such... The prisioners had full access to the entire base during the day... They took college classes on base as well... I am sure there are guidlines for their usage, but they have access to send out an email. I also know that other prisons have them as well because one of my step-daughters has this habit of emailing serial felons... Some of the tougher prisons in my state also has immates calling the local radio stations with their contraband cell phones, so don't say they can't get word out...
Also, I don't have a problem with Imagine, There stuff has been the best quality out there for years.. I automatically download their versions because I've trusted that its sync'd, and colored with the best source available... However, my remark is that within the past few months, Their quality has started to suffer... Hive's copies are coming out better more than half the time lately... I was just wonder what could have affected this change..
well, the prosecuters would have one HELL of a time with this.
the only ones that did ANYTHING illegal in the first place are the Distributors.
The Encoders, did nothing. The Source Providers, did what? give the "Original Copy of the Source Material"(Atleast of paper)
then what? the Distributors?
Well were they smart enough to not keep anything local? if they never exchange money for services of Selling there Releases, and NEVER stored and Distributed them Locally. What are they guilty of, other than transfer of data?
While they can always claim they "Stored" the Material but did not "Distribute" the Material. they worst they can claim is "Possession of Stolen Property", under that.
But if they were STUPID enough to do all of the Distribution from a Local point, (There own ISP, Torrent Seeding @ there home or Uploading the release to a Seed-box @ there home to a Seed Box in the USA) Than they just jumped into a 20yr+ Jail Sentence of there own free will.
You KNOW the MPAA is going to have a FIELD DAY with this if its true...
Thanks for the information sam
shame, being true;if so Imagine has def been on top wit the goodies awhile,; jus takes guts/ballz 2 "cam",,who will? ain't over yet,,thx Imagine & all the peeps who give 2 us..

in the united kingdom we have internet in cat b c and d prisons but come back soon guys need films
I personally think that it was the ones who put up fake torrents using imagine's name......there is alot of that going around ...but if that's not the case then that really sucks...they have been around forever
Ive been in most the federal prisons in the south east on counterfeiting charges and there is no internet period.they had an old commodore 64 system for "authorized"users.which is anyone with no computer history.if you have any computer know how at all then you cant even take a mavis beakon typing class.when will the rest of the country begin to see how Nazi the U.S is becoming.hope they dont get made an example of.good luck to them...and get that snitch!

I think there are gonna be all kinda tech hitches with a case such as this, just depends on how good their lawyers are.... The prosuction would have to be able to firmly identify each as a member of the said piracy group. Once they can prove that link, with their snitch, in court that is, they can charge them on a number of different counts. Theft, possesion of stolen material and distrubtion all because they attached their group name to each of the copies that they distributed, that proves intent.... However, then you have the gray areas of making money off the said releases and damages to the industry, which will be billions (IE:lIMEWIRE),
It will def be interesting to watch... If they are in custody now, they will be released soon as bail is posted, there was a local distributor in this area that they held for 3 months, he was arrested in Feb, released in May and his trial is in 2 weeks....

Roughly a year ago iNK (aka KoOlWaReZ) popped up apparently out of nowhere having the best line audio. Not a long wait before some group hooked up with. PrisM talked things out in their IRC and incorporated in its releases iNK awesome audio. After a while PrisM started retagging his pieces as PrisM-iNK. No one really knew where they eventually went; all anyone knew is that soon after iNK showed up, PrisM was out of the scene. Disappeared. To this day people still ignore the facts, except that Uncle’s cammer got busted and PrisM fearing to be snitched on, decided to just quit the game. Apparently iNK was only doing audio and a couple sync gigs here and there, according to them.
Fast forwarding a bit to earlier this year iNK joined up with T0XiC and provided them with line sync audios, hence they got renamed to T0XiC-iNK and then soon after T0XiCiNK. After a few jobs T0XiC stops releasing and iNK seems to become a free agent once again. According to them T0XiC was just reaping their work so iNK decided to do it alone. T0XiC then gave up because couldn’t compete anymore.
A few months later iNK starts releasing under EP1C. Meantime IMAGiNE and EP1C joined the table and got close. At this point in time EP1C started spitting out awesome releases until their main line audio supplier was taken down. Still he had the time to say that iNK was supposedly the cause. Anyhow iNK retains the innocence, but the whole story begins to get suspicious as it seems that around iNK bad things happens. By now something must have gone wrong, because iNK gets suddenly banned from IMAGiNE “new” tracker and soon after the entire EP1C crew.
EP1C first reaction to all this, was to starting a war, later on backtracked. iNK realizes IMAGiNE banned them for their own security so decide to call it a day.
EP1C final release is dated June 15th. At the end of July the house of XstremeSpeeds.net’s Admin gets raided by the feds, thinking he’s part of IMAGiNE. On September 9th IMAGiNE gets out his last release to date.
In a couple of days DIGITALiNK, credited to be the founder of EP1C, comes forward saying that nine individuals of IMAGiNE got busted. The article on TF is three days old.
However it seems that only four of them got visited by the authorities and their computer seized by ICE agents. Don’t forget we don’t know how many people IMAGiNE team is composed of. Most of the suppliers were spread around the world. It’s been said that at least two of the guys had been raided where seen on IRC, chatting with friends that confirmed they were real. Or were they? If I were an agent first thing I’d take possess of the accounts and start investigating from there, of course. But that’s for some other day.
Does the name DIGITALiNK ring any bells?
Well, let’s re-draw the picture. Last year this iNK jumps out of the rabbit hole and impresses PrisM with its sources and skills. Later their leader Uncle, being around few years already, sees his sources get busted and retires afraid in the shadows. iNK goes to T0XiC and again the group stops releasing. EP1C emerges from the ashes, but shortly their main line supplier gets busted. EP1C call it quits. In the following two months XstreamSpeed and UtN are forced to shut down and IMAGiNE get touch for the first time.
So who is DIGITALiNK? DIGITALiNK is iNK, he’s EP1C and some many other alias’ he assumed in the past few years. He was making his own rep, like the time he was in UtN shout, trying to hunt down someone who leaked one of his internal releases. Encoder after encoder, group after group, over twenty-five people that have dealt with him were taken into custody, but not one had given his info up for lenience, because always according to him, they’ve failed or been snitched on by someone else.
iNK was the guy that after scenepalace demoted him, he reported their Paypal account for fraud and had the site investigated by Paypal.
iNK is the guy who, after buying a ftp server, tried to push all the vips at UtN to sign it up. Undeterred by the UtN staff asked him to stop, he kept going adding users, logs and ips.
iNK is now been banned on over 80 trackers and I hope nobody will try do get around him.
What if there’s more? Is it possible we are just asking the wrong questions? Who does ICE work for? How many people are behind iNK work? There’s been a major change in the last two years as we have seen over 10 groups disappear in the p2p community.
DrinkOrDie (DoD) was a worldwide underground software piracy group and warez trading network during the ’90s. In 2001 the group was taken apart in a U.S. Customs operation called Operation Buccaneer. The global raids were initiated after information was given by James Cudney. The guy quickly rose up the ranks of DOD council where he spent many years working undercover for US Customs, logging conversations in chat rooms and channels visited on IRC, screenames, ftp locations, nationalities. He also carried out undercover operations in the UK, France, and the US prior to the arrests, collecting sensitive information on everybody he had contact with.
Are they out there like Indians? Mmm… It’s just a thought. Just a thought…
They were the ABSOLUTE BEST at what they did, SAF used to get a LOT of his sources from them! I made this for you guys (the scene group) and it will forever be my background!
