As Swine flu is spreading all over the world we have to take some precautions and avoid eating contaminated food. Swine flu is spreading very quickly. People have to avoid persons having cough, fever, running nose. At least stay 6 to 7 feet away from them. There are many cases of swine flu all over the in which most people face death. Their is no proper vaccine available for swine flu which have more chances to save the patient but some vaccines are available but you cannot relies on them fully. But it can be stopped or controlled by taking some precautions.

People have to aware themselves and keep themselves and their families protected by the virus.

What is swine flu:

vr7qdt.jpg

Swine influenza, or “swine flu”, is a highly contagious acute respiratory disease of pigs, caused by one of several swine influenza A viruses.Swine is a virus which is named for a virus present in pigs. It cannot affect humans but can infect human infections and do happen. Symptoms of swine flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.Mild or asymptomatic cases may have escaped from recognition; therefore the true extent of this disease among humans is unknown.

Where have human cases occurred:

Since the implementation of IHR(2005)1 in 2007, WHO has been notified of swine influenza cases from the United States and Spain. In Pakistan Doctor dies of swine flu recently (2009).

How swine flu infect people:

The virus is carried by the pig to the human. It can then transfer from human-to-human. But this happens to those people which have close contacts and closed groups of people.

Countries having symptoms of Swine Flu:

Swine flu is currently not detectable and doctors have no proper information about it but with the symptoms and sign available for swine flu have shown in many countries. Outbreaks in pigs are also known to have occurred in United States, North America, South America, Europe (including the UK, Sweden, and Italy), Africa (Kenya), and in parts of eastern Asia including China and Japan.

Fifty-nine people have died of swine flu since April 1. Forty-nine have died since September 1.

In the most recent period surveyed, November 15-21, 25,000 new cases of swine flu have been reported in Michigan.

But the number have dropped of recently.

Stay away from pigs. And tell others to stay away from them and take some precautions.

Is there a human vaccine to protect from swine influenza:

There are no vaccines that contain the current swine influenza virus causing illness in humans. It is not known whether current human seasonal influenza vaccines can provide any protection. Influenza viruses change very quickly. There is a need to make a vaccine which sustain the current virus and give maximum protection to the vaccinated people.

What drugs are available for treatment:

2akdxr6.jpg

1 International Health Regulation (2005) Antiviral drugs for seasonal influenza are available in some countries and effectively prevent and treat the illness. There are two classes of such medicines, 1) adamantanes (amantadine and remantadine), and 2) inhibitors of influenza neuraminidase (oseltamivir and zanamivir).

SYMPTOMS AND PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES OF AGAINST SWINE FLU’ OR H1N1 VIRUS!

Washing your hands helps to prevent the spread of swine flu.

1z357vt.jpg

According to latest news around the world Swine flu is established worldwide. A number of deaths have been reported worldwide so far. Initially the disease, Swine flu infects pigs caused by the H1N1 virus then transmitted to human beings. It is not a new disease it was noted in past also. The deaths reported were between 50 million and 1 hundred million.

The main symptoms are - Headache, Fever, Soaring Throat, troublesome breathing, cough and body ache.

People showing flu like symptoms such as fever, cough, running nose and difficulty in breathing should be allowed to stay at home for a period of 7 to 10 days.

There is no need to worry a lot as the Swine flu is curable. As suggested by elders that prevention is better than cure, the following precautionery measures must be taken, to minimize the chances of getting infected with Swine flu;

1) People showing flu like symptoms such as fever, cough, running nose and difficulty in breathing should be allowed to stay at home for a period of 7 to 10 days and consult your nearest medical practitioner.

2) Avoid contact with the pigs (swine). If you have pigs in your area then please inform the local municipal office so that they can take care of those pigs by keeping them isolated.

3) Keep a distance of minimum 6 feet from people affected with Catarrh, Cough and Fever.

4) Swine flu is communicable disease, so use the face masks to protect from the swine flu antigens.)

5) Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing, using one time disposable tissue when possible.

6) Avoid shaking hands, embracing and visiting the congested places and also crowded places like theaters, this can be a cause of spreading ground for Swine flu.

7) Wash your hands frequently with soap or diluted water of dettol at least 6-8 times a day to reduce the spread of virus.

8) Instruct the above points to children as they may be victimised easily with the Swine flu.

9) Avoid eating outside food because it may be contaminated and may make you infected with the virus.

10) Don’t use the public urinals because many people spit there, which could lead to the spreading of the disease.

11) Use boiled or mineral water only to Drink.

12) Take hot Drinks like tea, coffee more as you can.

Spread this news as quickly as possible to save the world from any big disaster or the virus spread all over the world.

YoGi avatarThanks Zeeshi, great read mate and good effort!!
BUT
...Topic needs debate...
1---> Most Over rated virus in the history of modern medicine..lol a little bit like Avatar the film...
2---> Tamiflu made an amazingly fast appearance as the cure without being tested...WTF
3---> Normal flu kills more people than swine flu
4---> Medicines not tested or not given enough time to study the side effects ''Both medications have side effects such as lightheadedness, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and trouble breathing. Children were reported to be at increased risk of self-injury and confusion after taking oseltamivir''
5----> Did you hear about the 1976 swine flu outbreak?? Known also as the swine flu fiasco.... It happened at Fort Dix in the states and only between January 19 and Feb 9th there were confirmed cases.. the virus did not spread outside Fort Dix but there was a massive immunization campaign. In the end only 1 person died from the virus while 26 died from side effects..side effects being Neuromuscular failure--> the same thing being reported now around the globe.
6---> Neither I nor my family are going to take the vaccine.
7---> Whats next?? We have had Mad Cow, Avian Bird Flu, Swine Flu and next??

Dirk_Diggler avatarHere(USA) they changed the name from swine flue to H1N1 because they say you no longer catch it from pigs, but it began with pigs. I got this info in a pamplet when I took my kids to get vaccination for this. Im not sure if its like this in other countries but they changed the name because everyone was scared to eat pigs.

DEVO avatarHello all at ET good see the work never stops around here ;)
i have too speak up on this one, I have worked with pigs for a long time from genetics imune systems and AI, I was recently fired from work 1 week before xmas due to me refusing to take the H1N1 vaccine (man made arrogance in a syringe) which the company decided to make mandatory for all personnel coming into contact with the animals.
its funny really because i have had swine flu already and it was nothing more then a sniffle and cough was over it in about 3 days after that my doctore ran a blood test on me and found that i had developed a natural imunitie and told me how there is a marker left in my blood that will indicate this but not all people will develop this, unfortunatly this was not good enough for my enployer and was still required to take the vacciene or loose my job nedless to say i told them were they can shove it and left.

estimated deaths from the standard flu worldwide = 140,000 a year (vaccine NOT mandatory)

estimated deaths from H1N1 (swine flu) worldwide = 7000 so far (vaccine becoming mandatory slowly from company to company)
(all info can be found on the WHO website or google)

The BIG problem is if the H1N1 was present in a human and that human came into contact and infected a pig back with h1n1 then the pigs system can mutate the swinflu into something bigger and more dangerous for humans.

DEVO avatar“The immune system in my body was developed over a few billion years & has been tested on a few trillion species over the years. It is an intelligent, autonomous system which is able to analyse the constantly changing threat posed by a few billion different bacteria, viruses & germs. It can detect & modify it's response to a gazillion different mutations, can pass it's knowledge base & armoury on to the offspring of it's host. It is both an offensive & defensive system. Once encountered & successfully killed off, the same system can protect against infiltration by many of the same type of invader again. Often while this amazing, cataclysmic war is going on inside my body the only symptom I get is a sore throat, runny nose or a feeling of tiredness. How arrogant & futile it is of us (humans) to contemplate that we could out-think such an amazing system! Personally, I will take my chances when this flu bug comes along & leave it to a truly qualified system to cure & protect me thanks!”

DEVO avatarSwine flu vaccine contains mercury!!!!!
It has recently been confirmed that Swine flu vaccines contain thimerosal, a mercury based preservative
Mercury is a toxin linked to autism and neurological disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimers disease. Thimerosal is commonly used in vaccinations and immunizations as a preservative.
While both the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Institute of Medicine are denying the correlation between the use of thimerosal having any causal relationship between immunizations and increased cases of autism, Epidemiologist Tom Verstraeten and Dr. Richard Johnston, an immunologist and pediatrician from the University of Colorado, both concluded that thimerosal was responsible for the dramatic rise in cases of autism but their findings have been dismissed by the CDC.
Studies have shown that the incidence of autism has risen by 1500% since 1991, the year when mandatory vaccines for children doubled. Prior to 1991, only 1 in every 2500 children was diagnosed with autism. That number is now 1 in every 166 children.

I never received a vaccine even though our school gave them out for free after it was too late and the disease had taken its natural course. H1n1 can suck it!

The shot contains the dead virus and the nasal spay contains the live virus. Also Children and old people are most at risk for this disease.

No avatarThese drugs aren't designed to help anyone.

As usual the pharma industry designs things that either a) supress symptoms or b) make people sicker so they can cash in more.

What people need to do is take responsibility for their own health. When sick the best chemicals to take are oxidizing agents that are stripping the oxygen atoms from the pathogens while not attacking blood cells. Such things are: ionic silver solutions and the Jim Humble MMS. These are also cheaper than drugs because these are simple chemicals.

garycol avatarThe H1N1 flu is a hoax as an epidemic. Apart from having basically run its coarse without the expected 900.000 deaths in the USA alone it has proven to be a much milder infection than was first thought. The statistics of the number of cases are totally wrong without a full blood test. For a doctor to check you out and say say that you have H1N1 is a guess at best. There is about 150 different diseases that have the same symptoms as the flu. One side effect of the vaccines that was not listed was death. I strongly urge you to have a look at http://www.mercola.com/ to check what I am saying.

I know my spelling is crap, anyone with google can research this and find I am correct. mercury and aluminium cause mental breakdown of nervious system and cause alzhimers over time as well as depression. which by the way treatment for both of those in the United States alone is in the billions if not trillions when combined with all the other sicknesses cause by weakened immune systems because of body fighting toxins injected directly into system. Just a Thought

tonycabanna avatarI personally dont believe in this crazy crap
Scaring people into oh get the flu shot
Last year i got the flu 3 times, didnt got a flu shot, im still allright and feel fine
The few people who died from the swine flu are old, or people with a weak defense mechanism or who have chronicle disease etc.
.
.
''The mortality rate for the A-H1N1/09 Pandemic Flu is currently roughly calculated as 0.01%.''
.
.
''Currently, there are 13,663 confirmed deaths worldwide. This figure is a sum of confirmed deaths reported by national authorities and the WHO states that total mortality (including deaths unconfirmed or unreported) from the new H1N1 strain is "unquestionably higher" than this.''
.
.
''Average mortality rate of seasonal flu = 0.12 % (based on WHO statistics below)
.
.
From WHO: "With seasonal flu, we see in the United States over 30 million cases. We see 200,000 hospitalizations and, on average, 36,000 deaths." (During the entire fall and winter flu season.)''

Bird flu should have killed the whole world a few years ago 2 :D
Media etc exaggerates imo.

No avatari've already seen some posts where people are obviously misinformed. swine flu isn't that deadly. it's less dangerous than regular flu. why the fuss? the very few people it has killed haven't been in the same demographic as seasonal flu victims. like really old and young people. it's killed healthy adults albeit very few of them. and that's the reason for the scare-mongering.
my advice..which is also the same as my doctors. don't get a vaccine. why? do your research. human error for one.

KING2ALL avatarBad info bro. (Most people face death) Give me a break. Have any statistics on how many died? The reason the virus is scary is because it is different enough from the normal flus that go around that more people are at risk of carrying it and spreading it around. Even since it first came out medical experts have said death is normally due to preexisting conditions that become worsened by the virus. It's not the virus that kills in most of the cases where people die. If your heart is weak and you get the virus yea you might want to have a will ready. It also effects young children with immunity problems. 50 to 100 million people dead? I laughed so hard when I read that. Many have H1N1 where I live despite the amount of shots given to combat it. Oh yea, they are still alive and kicking.....

Sorry the list is so long but the fact is 50 to 100 million people did not die as was reported in the above article. We should feel much safer knowing the real numbers. In many places where H1N1 has been reported in the hundreds there are in fact 0 fatalities. The article does state good information on how to help yourself and others from getting it so I thank you for that. Long Live ET.

2canchu avatarAnd the winner is Mexico, going by the statistics posted by king2all. Maybe that's why it was called the Spanish Flu originally.Anyway I think it's just another scare tactic to pad the pharmas pockets. I got a swine flu shot back in '76. God knows what's in my body now. There seems to be a general consensus that it's all hogwash(pardon the pun) And for all those getting vaccinations, careful they might chip you as well. To whomever complained about ET being for torrents and not for medical advice, the torrents are still and always here. Don't read the editorials if it upsets you eh!

2canchu avatarI take that back the U.S. was the highest in deaths my apologies. The Ukraine seems like a safe place, only 1 death. Hello, what ever happened to the avian epidemic, I guess it just didn't pan out.(Sorry another pun) Let's just stop this government crap and get universal health care now. This new reform is a joke, trouble is it's not funny it's scarry. C'mon Pres you CAN make it happen. Don't take no more shit. If everyone had health care in the U.S. would we have the highest death rate? Let me just quote the infamous Bill Clinton, "9-11 was an inside job, how dare you" Yes Bill get your facts straight.
