China has an easy access for hackers. There is not much of hard work to be done to become a hacker, in fact it’s as easy as abc there.
But the “sophisticated cyber-attack” of Google against China’s hackers has broaden the aspect. Though funnily Google never mentioned how it knew that it was China ‘s hackers responsible for such an act.
Most of the Hong Ke, locally known as red users, are incited by so called patriotism. The mystery lies whether they are related to the Chinese government or military as claimed.
The Honker Union is the largest and biggest Chinese hacker. It has denied any kind of involvement with the government and the attack, broadening the spectrum of relations between the state and the hackers.
As per Lyon, a core member of Hong Ke, on a telecom, "The Honker Union ... has no interest in getting involved in politics,we work only for the security of Chinese Web sites". That explains a lot about their relation.
Patriotism might be one of the reasons for the hacking but definitely not the underlying one!
China has definitely challenged the USA with its brain excellence. As the USA went way ahead with military expertise, China has found its strength in its brain processes and use it to the maximal.
The healthy network of hackers in China makes it miserable to even think of tracing where and how a tracker originated and how they are managed.
Hackers students get their “hacker study kit” for a mere $150, and ready and instant tutors via interactive tutorials or instant messaging. What more do you ask when you are so satisfied.
The grey Pigeon, a software originally designed for remotely control user’s computers became a haven for hackers, imagine it hacking an enemy country military files!!
There must be a kind of market that they can deal with, though working independently.
China prides in over 50,000 military trackers trained or in training.
Baseline: maybe it’s the weaker by force but stronger by intention and wisdom which will one day rule the world….. guess to see who is it among the underestimated developing world that will prove to be the ruler…

|Thanks Sam - interesting read! If this was not where the "power of the future" lay, then there would be no way the Chinese government (and of course Western World governments) would be spending countless millions of dollars on these kind of activities. I believe the underlying reason is quite simple - the gathering of information. Whilst Cash is still King, it is correct to assume Information is Power. And the more information you have on your enemy the more powerful you are.|
