The government of Iceland warned one of its MPs not to travel to the United States because the country was about to engage on some wholesale arrests of people involved with WikiLeaks.
Indeed, Icelandic MP Birgitta Jónsdóttir confirmed that her attorneys have seen papers showing that a grand jury investigation into WikiLeaks’ whistleblowing is currently underway in the United States. Birgitta Jónsdóttir was a co-producer of a video released by WikiLeaks to show US soldiers shooting civilians in Baghdad from a helicopter. The MP admitted that already the American Department of Justice tried to hack by legal means into her social media accounts. Unfortunately, the legal team of Twitter unsealed the US secret document and provided a chance to defend personal data in court from being used in a dragnet, for the first serious attacks on the whistleblower’s supporters and volunteers.
Meanwhile, the speaker of the Icelandic Parliament even raised this issue at the International Parliamentarian Union in 2011, but was backed. It said the outfit was concerned that the legal framework over the use of electronic media wasn’t enough to provide sufficient guarantees to ensure respect for freedom of expression, access to data and the right to privacy.
Birgitta Jónsdóttir has parliamentary immunity under its home country’s law when she carries out political activity, but the United States clearly ignored that fact. She believes that it’s proof that WikiLeaks’ founder is clearly not overreacting to his fear of possible extradition to the United States. Jónsdóttir added that the fact her Twitter data sought was clearly content to establishing key facts about an ongoing investigation.
However, during a meeting at the Icelandic State Department, Jónsdóttir received a message from the newly appointed US Ambassador, who was instructed by his country to announce that if Jónsdóttir ever popped over to the US, the border agents wouldn’t get out their rubber hoses, and promised she wouldn’t have to face an involuntary interrogation.
Nevertheless, the Icelandic State Department strongly advised Birgitta against visiting the United States. In a while, her attorneys saw at least a couple of sealed grand jury papers relating to her when requesting access to the papers pertaining to her case. Of course, the United States wants to get even with the service, and its founder has every reason to worry about being extradited to the country, no matter from Britain or Sweden.

|The truth is out there now and the American state department will do all in their power to persecute and prosecute any involved despite the only crime committed being that of the genocide ordered by the Top brass of the USA in the first place, witch hunting at its worst.|
It seems that despite legal scandals off phone hacking by the newspapers in the UK and threats of imprisoning hacks who breach the rights of privacy of private citizens its OK for the USA to breach all laws of privacy in accessing private individuals social media accounts at will,a practice which if done by Hackers gets the protracted prison sentences and millions in fines is fine when done by the powers that be.

|The MP admitted that already the American Department of Justice tried to hack by legal means into her social media accounts....|
Dam i must be doing it wrong, every time I do it it's illegal and people try to catch me and call me a naughty boy :*(
This shows just how morally bankrupt US politicians are whether labeled left or right. The "United States" rather call's for punishing the whistleblower than for punishing the perpetrators who spied, lied and committed large scale war crimes revealed by Wikileaks.

lastly, here is how a close air support(CAS) request goes...1 ground forces request CAS and choppers scramble from the base to provide cover unless allready on mission in the area. 2 positive ID of enemy personel is given from the ground to the air crew. 3 the air crew then verifies the target and requests for permission to fire...the video feed goes all the way back to base for review in real time by commanders, 4 bad guys identified and permission given to engage. all those people involved observe the hostile actions and intent and take action. Why would everybody...and we are talking a squad of soldiers air crew and battle capt on base...all in all around 10-12 people...waste their time on friendlies...it doesnt make sense. Being in civilin clothes doesnt make you a civilian...the guys blowing them up don't wear uniforms, so their attire gives no real evidence of who they are...also, funny thing, all the villagers know when some BS is going down, and they arent running in the streets, they are in their houses on the floor...the insurgents bombs kill just as many if not more civilians than soldiers, so they duck out when a fight is brewing, and yes they know! Lastly, IED planters are unarmed after they plant an IED...but still a threat and an enemy combatant...dropping your rifle or RPG launcher after firing is not uncommon...especially if an attack chopper is circling and can see you...doesnt matter..no one can say that they werent running to another cache or fighting position. I know alot of you hate the USA for whatever reason, but watching half a video and thinking you got the full story is crazy...give the benefit of the doubt..or don't, it doesnt really matter, nobody involved in the battle got arressted let alone charged with anything, and thats for a good reason!
