See what has come now, this time piracy of 3D movies have been discussed and declared that in future, this too is going to be possible as pirates wont ever give up doing their job and making it grow as it should be. Let me get you through it little deep enough.
Well, James Cameron’s biggest blockbuster “AVATAR” that wowed the world like heaven & grasped a damn no. of audience especially on its 3D version that consisted of an excellent work on graphics and 3D effects. Lets see whether the pirate see them standing at the success pad or they find themselves at the old 2D movies. Interesting, no?
With respect to the same, a professor of production from University of Southern California (USC) and came up as executive producer of 2007's "U2 3D", Michael Peyser said, "There is going to be a good period where 3-D has got a little more value, because it can't be purloined from the theater. There's no commodity to it, nor can the files, even if they're copied, be viewed."
People were not able to watch 3D movies with all those extraordinary 3D effects just sitting at their couch at home and because of the same case, there is no existence of 3D market out of your home but hey, it possible now. This possibility came from the big and popular companies like Panasonic, Samsung and Sony that are launching their TVs just in 2010 which would have the compatibility of 3D. And it’s obvious that as soon as 3D becomes a market stuff and people get them to see at their homes, the anti-piracy groups would have to make up their minds more sharp as pirates would eventually go and start a new revolutionary step in their piracy world by pirating 3D movies. Isn’t? In short these big companies would help in the growth of piracy world in a new way.
According to the Motion Picture Association of America, the pirates come up in the theater with some camcorder or security codes on legitimate or pre-release screener DVD's are broken by them so as to make a copy at their wish and eventually that copy turns into a torrent and is being uploaded and shared all around the world with no fear.
Camcorders have the biggest effect that is 90% on the 2D movies. Bit if talking about 3D, there’s not much profit in pirating it and the same is being stated by a spokesman for 3D technology company RealD, Heineman. 3D movie images consist of two projections and the polarization of light is different in it. To make the light waves be at the same angle, polarization is done which helps the light waves be in a line. Filtration of one strain of the polarized light to each eye is done by 3D glasses. An appearance of depth is experienced as the eye captures a little different image by the little offset of the projections.
"If you record a 3-D image with a hand held [camcorder], then you're just going to end up with a blurry image," added by Heineman.
The pirates are going to face loads of problems in ripping 3-D Blu-ray discs, as they would encounter with lack of clarity and distinctness. They may have to face more problems in copying 3D movies than 2D ones, as said by USC's Peyser. He also concluded that in future it won’t be impossible. May be, more security would be added in the discs so as to protect the two polarized images and so that none would be able to copy them. "Pirates are pirates. They will figure out a way of copying it,” he added.

personally think 3 d is the biggest fad in the history of cinema, it died out once it ll die out again because depite all its pretty lights and effects once everyone gets on the bandwagon tings like plotlines will be thrown out the window for things like " wow wouldn t this look cool " scenes,

I am not a prick or anything but I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME UNDERSTAND THE PERSON WRITING THIS ARTICLE... HIS ENGLISH IS SO CHOPPY THAT IT IS HARD AS HELL TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HELL HE IS SAYING.. I am thankful for the information but it is useless unless I can understand what the hell he is trying to say... He posts alot and every time I try to read his posts I can't because he doesn't type it out clearly enough for me to read which sucks because he probably has some interesting information...
Why would 3D be any harder to pirate? The polarized glasses have two lenses, just separate them and mount in front of two camera's making sure to maintain correct orientation of the lenses. Adobe Premiere has plugins to work with 2 video sources for the production of old fashion 3D that uses Blue/Red glasses like those above. While not optimum like polarization 3D it does work as anyone who ever watched 3D on TV for the past 25 years can tell you.
