Belize authorities are hunting antivirus pioneer John McAfee after an American guy, Gregory Faull, was murdered. According to Marco Vidal, the head of the local Gang Suppression Unit, John McAfee is a prime suspect in the crime. Gregory Faull was a famous builder who might have fallen out with McAfee. The matter is that Faull had recently filed a formal complaint against McAfee with the mayor’s office, where he accused McAfee of having fired off guns and exhibited “roguish behavior”.
After a row involving dogs, Gregory was found by his cleaner lying in a pool of blood with an apparent gunshot wound on his head. All the evidence was a single luger brand 9mm expended shell. Missing from the house appeared to be his laptop and his iPhone. In the meanwhile, McAfee wasn’t around to answer any questions and is currently believed to be on a run.
Media reports admit that McAfee has recently become very erratic, and began associating with Belize gangsters in an attempt to get his paws on some hardcore drugs. They say that John McAfee was posting on a drug-focused message board “Bluelight” about his attempts to purify the psychoactive compounds called “bath salts”. Despite the fact that the UK had a surge in the use of mephedrone – a cathinone-based drug which was briefly legal – it hasn’t had the same blanket scare media coverage as in the United States.
McAfee allegedly wrote that it was the finest drug, not only for the indescribable hypersexuality, but for the smooth euphoria and mild comedown as well. American newspapers so far have equated the above mentioned “bath salts” with such incidents as road-side cannibals, but after the scare this was later disproved.
As for McAfee, he said he was trying to find the holy grail of the perfect “super perv powder” and was warning about the dangers of handling the freebase version of the substance. According to him, that version of the drug caused the worst paranoia in his life.
Earlier in 2012, John McAfee claimed that he became the victim of the Gang Suppression Unit after his failure to bribe a local politician. At the time, he claimed that the police unit took a sledgehammer to unlocked doors on his property, seized his passport and all the weapons on his compound.
