The ultraconservative Tea Party has launched a social network of its own. Their “Facebook” is free from liberal censorship and meant for people who prefer regurgitating Bronze Age mythology over insignificant matters like science and facts.
Social network called Tea Party Community was developed by Time Selaty Sr. and Ken Crow. They say they designed the conservative social network in response to “liberal censorship”. The new service was introduced last weekend. Its motto is “Connecting and Empowering We The People”.
Despite the invite-only approach, which guarantees to keep those pesky progressives out, the new service already accounts for around 50,000 members, according for Fox News Radio claims. The site developers explained that they created a new home for conservatives and the Tea Party movement in the US. The matter is that many of the users are subjected to censorship on Facebook and have been suspended there. In addition, they also absorb a lot of abuse from liberals.
In other words, it seems that the website is designed for rugged individualists and tough right-wingers who are too offended by a little Facebook abuse, i.e., for those who are ready to run away and start their own social network.
According to Fox News, about a hundred Facebook users contacted the service with complains of Facebook filtering, including bloggers Amy Jo Clark and Miriam Weaver, over material published on their conservative website “Chicks on the Right”. They claimed that they were targeted by a trolling community, with the sole purpose of it being to report conservative pages and cause problems. For instance, prominent Tea Party activist Jan Morgan explains that she was sanctioned many times for her pro-Second Amendment posts.
In the meantime, a new service has more than a passing resemblance to Facebook, telling its members on the landing page that if they like Facebook, they will also love the Tea Party Community.

Awesome, get the tiny-peckered lunatics off of Facebook
Wow SAM gotta say crappy article... Insult Religion, Republicans, and a few other groups, a new low... I usually love your articles but this one is just pure crap.
I think its a great article. And screw republicans as far as I'm concerned, they dont know what the truth is and lie like no other.
My thought is simple, how can you right about the second amendment, when your using it as the free speech amendment? Second amendment is the right to bare arms. Personally Both Parties are full of very selfish people who's only goal is to just win, be rich and damn the people. All these parties are selfish with own motives. I am probably singular in the fact that I want our government run from what the constitution reads. Most Laws and statues written today are designed by greed motivations. We need leaders not parties in the US

Second Amendment, First Amendment.. They're all the same... It's all Bush's fault!
Wow! crappy article. Insulting people who disagree with your own viewpoints but yet try to call them out on it!? Hypocrite any???
funny how they reserve the right to do exactly what they accuse facebook of doing, censoring material they don't agree with.
one only need to go to any liberal blog, website or community like care2 causes and you will see them full of trolls from the right doing exactly what they accuse the left of doing, which is typical of the right.
when thr republicans are in control, they run up massive debt, spending money like a drunken sailor in a whorehouse with a credit card. when the dems are in power, the repubs then become fiscal conservatives complaining about deficit spending.
whenever the right doesn't get their way they blame the mythological liberal press or in this case, liberal censorship.
this will be the fox news network of social media.
The pee party is so far out of touch with tha real world I think it perfect for them 2 b in there own social network environment they can have it & a bag a S#!^ to boot !!!!!!!

Wow! After reading this I had to log in and respond. There is no other group of people more misrepresented than the Tea Party. TEA = Taxed Enough Already. They favor smaller government, fiscal responsibility and lower taxes. They believe the current government has gotten out of control with its taxing, spending and its ever-expanding bureaucracy. The media and the left (one and the same) have done their best to label them as racist, sexist, redneck, bigots while on the other hand embracing the Occupy Wall Street trash that rape, steal, urinate and defecate every where they go. Like a few others Sam, I generally like your articles but this one is way off the mark.

I agree Unsub, the push against the Tea Party and repubs. is made up almost exclusively of people who don't understand even the basics of what the organization is all about. Mostly a bunch of uneducated, (or overeducated by liberal, union run schools) scream and holler about how dangerous or crazy or racist they are. They are merely regurgitating what the lib-dems want them to. The sad part is that they believe it all because they never take the time to look at both sides. It's amazing that any American would put down an organization that supports freedom, lower taxes, family, less government intrusion, and above all The Constitution. The fact that this view is very common is an illustration of how powerful and lopsided the "media" has become. And it's all of media, from newspapers to tv and movies...even advertising. I'm almost done, what Sam has done here is a perfect example in miniature of what is happening nationally. Even though I support his right to an opinion, no regard is given to facts on the other side of the argument. Crass and demeaning comments serve no one well. I guess liberal political correctness as usual, only applies if you are a republican.

Good article. I'd love to see them try to make up their own constitution with 'greed', 'floundering arrogance' and 'blind obediance' as founding principles. Then all they'd need is a rich, white guy (the smallest 'governing body' possible) to represent them and buy a small island on which they would be 'invited' to stay as his guests (servants) -- tax free, but everyone goes to church, works for the rich, white guy, and only speaks out when asked. They'd say, "Take that libs and dems, we are finally free! If you wish to visit, you'll have to check your intellect, common sense and rights at the dock." They could call it Tea Bag Island. The dems would call it, 'Obsequious Isle', and the rich would say, "I'll have what he's got."
r3m5l33p maybe u r a black, on benefits? that would explain the way inwich u talk..or maybe im wrong,,and i apologise,,but you should apologise aswell, for your lack of knowledge and insults..but on the other hand, thats the level inwich most people are today..
maybe u dont know history,,i wil refresh your memory,,martin luther king, great patriot and american, that did a lot for america and for all black comunity was a republican, and he fighted hard for making america a better place,,he was fit for president, and if he would have been alive today he would have had my vote, democrats, on the other hand, had KU-KLUX-KLAN and lincoln had to fight hard with them, to convince them that the institution of slavery is a mistake, and needs to be abolished,,never learn from the histtory, huh? on the other hand, republicans today are a joke, comparing with how they used to be,
so, if there is no more slavery, thats thanks to republican,,not the ones today,,its intresting how obama now, has diffrent kind of slaves,,those to benefits,,,
History shows that the Ku Klux Klan was the terrorist arm of the Democrat Party. This ugly fact about the Democrat Party is detailed in the book, A Short History of Reconstruction, (Harper & Row Publishers, Inc., 1990) by Dr. Eric Foner, the renown liberal historian who is the DeWitt Clinton Professor of History at Columbia University. As a further testament to his impeccable credentials, Professor Foner is only the second person to serve as president of the three major professional organizations: the Organization of American Historians, American Historical Association, and Society of American Historians.
Democrats in the last century did not hide their connections to the Ku Klux Klan. Georgia-born Democrat Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan wrote on page 21 of the September 1928 edition of the Klan’s “The Kourier Magazine”: “I have never voted for any man who was not a regular Democrat. My father … never voted for any man who was not a Democrat. My grandfather was …the head of the Ku Klux Klan in reconstruction days…. My great-grandfather was a life-long Democrat…. My great-great-grandfather was…one of the founders of the Democratic party.”
Dr. Foner in his book explores the history of the origins of Ku Klux Klan and provides a chilling account of the atrocities committed by Democrats against Republicans, black and white.
On page 146 of his book, Professor Foner wrote: “Founded in 1866 as a Tennessee social club, the Ku Klux Klan spread into nearly every Southern state, launching a ‘reign of terror‘ against Republican leaders black and white.” Page 184 of his book contains the definitive statements: “In effect, the Klan was a military force serving the interests of the Democratic party, the planter class, and all those who desired the restoration of white supremacy. It aimed to destroy the Republican party’s infrastructure, undermine the Reconstruction state, reestablish control of the black labor force, and restore racial subordination in every aspect of Southern life.”
Heartbreaking are Professor Foner’s recitations of the horrific acts of terror inflicted by Democrats on black and white Republicans. Recounted on pages 184-185 of his book is one such act of terror: “Jack Dupree, a victim of a particularly brutal murder in Monroe County, Mississippi - assailants cut his throat and disemboweled him, all within sight of his wife, who had just given birth to twins - was ‘president of a republican club‘ and known as a man who ‘would speak his mind.’”
“White gangs roamed New Orleans, intimidating blacks and breaking up Republican meetings,“ wrote Dr. Foner on page 146 of his book. On page 186, he wrote: “An even more extensive ‘reign of terror’ engulfed Jackson, a plantation county in Florida’s panhandle. ‘That is where Satan has his seat,‘ remarked a black clergyman; all told over 150 persons were killed, among them black leaders and Jewish merchant Samuel Fleischman, resented for his Republican views and for dealing fairly with black customers.“

agelgraven, maybe you and your fellow Republitards didn't read about the IQ study done in Canada a year ago. It linked low IQ to prejudice, racism and Conservative views. Theories include that people of low IQ gravitate toward socially conservative ideologies, which stress resistance to change and, in turn, prejudice. Less intelligent people are possibly drawn to conservative ideologies because such beliefs feature "structure and order," which make it easier to comprehend a complicated world. Many of these features can also lead to prejudice, one experts says. If you're conservative, maybe you should let someone smarter than you do your research and make the interpretations -- rather than just listening to Fox news and reading whatever tripe you come across that supports your limited view.

Baaaaahahahaha this article sure got the retardlicans out in force. Odd though, that they're here on a site that goes against the wishes of their capitalistic, corporate overlords. This is also the second time now that I've seen a brain dead nitwit try to claim MLK was a redouchelican. That is patently false and I have no idea where this ridiculous lie is coming from. It sure is funny to read though!
Tynbk2 - spot on brother.
tynbk you are not very bright mate, hobart you are the same,im not republican or democrat..as well, your IQS are equal to zero as you cant even properly read,i was stating facts..i am independent, ..if you know what that means,,

A shining example of what he "fighted hard for", if ever there was one.
America, the only Western nation where the word "progressive" is a slur.

Actually, my IQ has tested above 160 thank you very much. Learn some punctuation, capitalization, spelling, grammar and sentence structure and MAYBE someone will start to take you seriously, but I doubt it, as long as you continue to spout easily refutable nonsense. Good day.
Hobart still your iq is low mate.i don't care about punctuation or the other useless things you mention but mostly about substance.something obviously liberals don't have or understand.do you understand little self proclaimed genius? America used to be a great country.. Up to liberals and self proclaimed geniuses as yourself grabbed power...but let's not make it personal.. No one wins in this fight...
Read history google it and you will see that Martin Luther king was republican.. Today republicans are shadows of what they used to be...pathetic losers they became..linc
Lincoln that gave freedom to our beloved black community was republican aswell.conservatorism goes hand in hand with a bright and selfless life. A far cry from the selfish and everyone for himself attitude of liberals

Baaaaahahahahaha! I'm not going to continue to argue with a brainless dolt who refuses to acknowledge irrefutable fact, but the simple fact is, Martin Luther King, Sr. was a lifelong republican until he supported JFK in 1960. Martin Luther King, Jr. never publicly supported a party, but voted democrat. Fact. Enjoy your ignorance, buh bye.
It's easy to offend using computer as a hiding place.i would love to meet you face to face my friend . At that time will be obvious how much of a man you are!)))

We (in the U.S.) are extremely underrepresented. We must avoid this senseless separation that a two and sometimes three party system puts us through.
Be you Dem, Rep or Tea; the government has grown from the gardeners of our free garden to the landscapers that charge us to operate.
We must all realize that none of us are represented. Only the fat, rich, perpetual nation destroyers are represented- they're the ones working there. (if you call dividing a nation work)
We must know by now that none of our elected officials represent the majority of the people for which they've committed...none.
While we bicker and fuss about the opposite ends of our own fake folly; our president is slowly taking away the power of the people's congress to maintain our fine nation in a way that upholds liberty and our pursuit of happiness...Our congress allows him to do so. We are to blame...ALL of us for allowing our congress to allow our president to ignore the document that has guaranteed our sovereignty. We stand by and allow those that say it's words no longer apply. Nothing could be more detrimental to the freedom of this world. We must stop fooling ourselves to thinking that those that DO NOT represent us can ever uphold our God given rights...while they all trample those rights before our very eyes.
I am a free man, I don't wear their Left, right nor tea LABEL. for Freedom is mine. It is yours as well- as long as you are willing to fight for it instead of fighting over how three different colors within the same spectrum of a huge fail in our current moment in time is better than the other.
The time is now to regain our sovereign rights that have been slyly stripped from us and become once again a nation worthy to be called a free nation.
Now get back to seed'n ye peasants! ha!
