If you have never heard of Bump, we call tell that it is a neat app which allows people to share data between each other by simply bumping two mobile devices. However, the developing team behind the app decided to also enable such feature for PCs.
Bump is compatible with both iOS and Android-based mobiles, which makes it a very popular choice for users who like to share. Indeed, the statistics say that since its launch, the app gathered over 125 million downloads worldwide. Back in 2012, the company started its own Internet app through which people could share photos, but the client only worked one way – from a mobile to a PC.
Today Bump’s developers not only made this feature available both ways, but also allowed users to transfer all sorts of files – video, audio, and pictures. In addition, by using the online client, users are able to make a backup of their contacts, transfer them to another PC and even between several PCs.
The transferred files are stored on the company’s servers. This means that Bump uses cloud-based technology, but in an uncommon way. Bump’s Chief Executive Officer Dave Lieb explained that it’s not a syncing service, but rather a sort of USB flash drive which helps people transfer files between various devices. By the way, there is a 30MB size limit per file transferred, but the company doesn’t limit the storage capabilities. The app is compatible with most of modern browsers, including IE, Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

Wow Sam, you're now writing ads for software companies! Bump has serious security problems and at 30mb per file transfer, it's a joke. It makes bluetooth look good.
skydrive has been out for years so why not upload to that and download onto whatever you want,pc or phone, simples.

'Bump' for idiots unable to figure out how to carry out basic digital technology tasks...let's face it...software (and other) companies try to treat us all like complete wankers by holding our hand all the time and behaving as though we're 5. Remember when you selected what WAS installed when you put a copy of windows 95 on your pc? remember when the manual was in words and you had to read and understand the instructions? now it's quick start guides with pictures galore for people thicker than a whale omlette. Fight back against being treated like a TV reality star with a single figure IQ (step forward all big brother morons, the osbournes and some daft slapper call kardashian or something)...you have a brain...use it.
most things people send between mobile devices are less than 30mb, so how its that a problem?
are you trying to use it for movies? get a sd card and save them on it.
