Microsoft has announced that from July 1 its security software will immediately stop any adware detected and notify you. If you wish, you will be able to restore the program using that adware.
Right now, when Microsoft’s security detects a program as adware, it alerts you and recommends an action. If you don’t do anything, the security software will allow the program to continue to run until you make a decision.
Why has Microsoft chosen a July 1, 2014 deadline? They say they want to give developers enough time to comply with its new rules. The company said that it will consider a program adware if it runs on your machine and produces notifications to promote any goods or services in programs other than itself. In case the program shows advertisements within its own borders it won’t be assessed any further.
Microsoft also revealed that it will also be acceptable if software uses advertising in a form of payment for the program. It seems that what the company is going for is software which interferes with Windows without giving it choice and control over it.
Advertisements opened by those programs have to include a method to close the advert along with the name of the program which created the advertisement. In the meantime, the application that creates such adverts has to provide a standard uninstall method for the software using the same name as shown in the adverts it produces.

ABOUT BLOODY TIME!!!
Although I try to avoid any adware programs, there have been times they've accidentally slipped through. Then you have to go hunting for the program to delete it, and they're usually NOT where you'd EXPECT them to be, to prevent you from deleting them too quick.

I have spent many nights trying to clean them out of pc's then I would just take the easy route and format and do a fresh install that included many extra programs I supplied from my stock pile that it got to where I stop cleaning & just do a complete re-install for $40.00 instead of 6 to 12 hours and make nothing !
It won't work very well.

You pay $40 to re-install?
I'll teach you how for half that, and it will only take 5 minutes to explain, that is, assuming you read English.
|Use Clonezilla and restore a saved image in minutes. No reinstall required.||
