Unblocked.pw, a well-known service that helps ISP subscribers circumvent web-blocking injunctions, suddenly became one of the most popular websites in the United Kingdom, providing instant access to blocked domains. At the moment, the site is ranked 192nd in the country, more popular than Spotify and Skype.
Actually, the British Internet users feel that web blocking is a hot topic for them today. The ISPs block more and more torrent, streaming and other downloading services, while the government enforces porn barriers.
The UK government claims that the top 10 adult websites in the country account for more than half of all site views. But Unblocked.pw, a service dedicated to unblocking blocked sites, is even more popular, although it exists for much less than a year. Apparently, the success is due to restrictions being put in place by British ISPs: every time they enforce a blockade, Unblocked.pw finds a solution to the problem, unblocking most major torrent and streaming websites.
While David Cameron’s office suggests that users should validate their ages at porn sites with a credit card, the site operators don’t support this idea, because otherwise they will mess with their business models by reducing traffic and ad revenue. The UK government can, of course, choose to block adult websites, but only those that are located in the country, which are few in number and represent a tiny proportion of the global porn industry. Anyway, even if adult sites get blocked in the UK, Unblocked and similar services will quickly offer workarounds. Nowadays, the worldwide web continues to interpret censorship as damage, and routes around it.

Do the UK government really expect me and other UK residents to pay £20 a month for unlimited internet and only get half the service because they keep censoring the internet. If I pay for my internet I get full access legal or not.
If you elect a Tory government what do you expect but Dickensian Laws a quick search ( first page ) thew this up "Cover-up storm over judges caught viewing porn on their work laptops " ( Daily Mail On -line 17/5 ) would they use there Credit cards to validate there age ????

'If I pay for my internet I get full access legal or not.' - I'm sure you'd be happy with full illegal access if it were images of YOUR young daughter being improperly or illegally used. Judges are chosen by the Judicial Appointments Committee, an independent body, NOT the government so why is it the Tories fault?
I don't have kids and i don't want kids because i'd rather spend my money on myself than spend it on nappies, toys and baby clothes and live a long 16 years of hell.
At #3.... the point was ( and maybe I should have set it out so you could follow it ) a search of the web will throw up countless cases of MPs ( of all brands ...so as not to offend your political sensitivity )Judges and other "professionals " caught assessing porn from "work " PCs I find it rather hypocritical that this Tory government should start this puritanical crusade and how you took crazymichaels comment were you did is the best case of Reductio ad absurdum I have come across in some time

I don't have any credit cards - but my dog was once pre-approved for one: how many dog-years old does he have to be to legally view porn or will he be forever banned because he won't live to reach 18 human-years?(And would he be able to use his credit card on a bestiality porn site that we humans can't?)

Technically, one human year is 7 dog years so by 3 he would be 21. However, if we use that he is 7 at age 1 and should be able to talk well and be in school.
On a serious side do these peeps think they will ever really stop computer sharing?

@5 I did follow it easily thanks as you did set it out...badly...with little clarity relying on the tired old "Google it" statement. You seem to think Google is the font of all knowledge and journalists are bothered about the truth especially Daily-Wail ones, such naivety makes me chuckle. You claimed "judges watch porn" and claim it is the fault of 1 party, the Tories so your argument of blaming "all brands" utterly fails to hold water. Surely you meant parties, because as far as I know there is no copyright to the word "Tories" or "Labour" etc etc. As for crazymicheals comment, it's fairly standard of the "I'll do what I want when I want"...except of course attitudes to criminal activities are well known to change when that activity becomes personal. And I see to finish you've chosen to use the popular Reductio quote in an attempt to ridicule my post. Well done please feel free to Google more Latin phrases you think might give your weak argument more weight.

And YOU resort to childish small minded insults, the classic sign of no intelligence, a lost argument and a mentality that is outsmarted by a mobile phone....now please, jog on.
Gaspode YOU are a Dick ...a quick look at your Comment history proves this and I have better things to do with my time than feed trolls
|Firstly since most paedophile sites are on the Dark Web or outside the jurisdiction of the UK the hunt for paedophiles is like the war on terrorism and will never be won just one reason for it being the target of witch hunts instigated in the first instance by an advisor to David Cameron who was later found with a PC full of kiddie porn, the so called war on pedo`s was and is a smoke screen for the steady invasion/erosion of the Citizens privacy and part of the Global Cyber Strategy from the NSA since 2001 whereby they either use terrorists or cyber crime for their over reach into taking control of the Internet.Much like terrorism paedophilia will not be stopped by any single government or by blocks on some sites or by monitoring by ISP`s since there are as the article outlines very effective proxies and VPN`s that allow re-routing and evasion of their site blocks and so they may make all the claims they choose, but at the end of the day all they have done is abuse their power to try and control what the Media corporations of America cannot, ultimately big brother will try to force all non government and non corporate sites to their will and then we may as well live in China or Putins Russia.||
