The Motion Picture Association of America is seeking an individual to fill a position of its global anti-piracy vice president. The new Vice President, Global Content Protection will develop and manage relationships with high-level law enforcement officials all over the world.
As you know, Hollywood and the major recording labels are pouring endless millions into content protection, and now the MPAA is hoping to boost its already sizable anti-piracy team with a new Vice President of Global Content Protection.
The position will see the new recruit working with the major movie studios in order to “define and execute” the group’s global online content protection strategies. Apparently, the post is central to the group’s entire anti-piracy operation. Responsibilities of a new vice-president include directing international investigations of sites, their owners and business entities engaged in or associated with copyright violation, as well as monitoring and reporting on emerging trends and threats.
The MPAA advertised the position as a team player with the “utmost moral and ethical character” to support the content protection team.
