|Russian President has dismissed new threats of the Unites States to retaliate against alleged Russian hackers, pointing out that such statements only confirmed that the US used cyber attacks for political ends. Vladimir Putin also believes that the hacking allegations were mainly election campaign rhetoric by the White House, and hopes that bilateral ties could improve after the US elections.
The US government said “we are sending a message” to Putin, promising retaliation for Russia’s hacking attacks to “be at the time of our choosing, and under the circumstances that will have the greatest impact”. Russia was formally accused of a campaign of cyber attacks against Democratic Party organizations prior to the 8 November presidential election.
Putin recalled that everyone is aware of the US spying and eavesdropping on people, and the only new thing was that for the first time the US publicly has recognized at the highest level that they themselves carry out cyber attacks. It is clear that by accusing Russia of all woes, the outgoing US administration sought to distract voter attention from its failures, such as huge state debt, weak diplomacy and strained relations with its allies in the Middle East. Putin officially reassured everyone that Russia did not intend to influence the US election campaign. While Russia’s Foreign Ministry accused the US of the highest level of Russophobic propaganda, Putin said he would work with any leader of the United States willing to work with Russia.
Putin recalled that confrontation is not Russia’s choice. On the contrary, this country is eager to find common ground and cooperate in solving the problems that both Russia and the United States face.

Vladimir Putin was once head of the KGB. Russia did some "fallout" drills. Is that soposed to scare people of a Nuclear War With Russia? I'm not so sure that it's that far fetched anymore. Are government says we have the best hackers in the world, but I'm not even sure that's true. I just hope it is. Another cold war may happen. I just hope it's all joke. Sad.

Bullies act the same way. They Hit first then say: Putin recalled that confrontation is not Russia’s choice. On the contrary, this country is eager to find common ground and cooperate in solving the problems that both Russia and the United States face.
Putin was never head of the KGB he was a foreign intelligence officer for 16 years.........
How do you mean another cold war "may" happen? Would you not agree, under current circumstances, that we are even further along than the cold war and are heading steadily into a WW3 hot war scenario? There are so many different ways things cam get out of hand very easily. USA-UK-(NATO)-Israel-Russia-Iran-Syria-Pakistan etc.
The variables don't show any one path to a pre-cold war peace like we may have had when the SORT (or START) treaties had been introduced, as the 2010 treaty especially, was just fumes, and a new "START" 2 or 3 were not even follow ups to any pre-treaty. It's a dangerous period and a certain female head democrat who will be elected US president by hook or by crook, has a huge grudge with a lot of different people. She has a fully loaded shelter to hide in with the other Govt. Heads and maybe her extended family?, and a very itchy war trigger finger.
She certainly has made enough money for herself, Soros and cronies from war, and they cannot keep pushing proxy wars forever.
@johnjay1969 Ya I agree. Lets just hope for the best.
us needs to pull it's finger out of there arse and out of other countries before they point fingers in as threatening manner !
they need trump to lead them out of trouble , not clinton and her hidden agendas.....unfortunately , hillbilly hillary will get in by hook or by crook with help from her cronies . heres to hope she does not !
Te last time a not "professional" candidate even was remotely cose was Ross Perot. I dont see how Trump could be any worse than any of the remaining evil.
And besides he will be just as hamstrung by The Senate and Congress as any would be, maybe even more because of the rift in the GOP. But we will know soon enough.
What I am sure of is this is the biggest chance for a "change" since the War of Northern Aggression.
