Unknown team of developers took the version of LimeWire, stripped it all of both the spyware and adware, then activated all its PRO features, and set it free from the dependency on the official LimeWire servers. Whatever they got was released as LimeWire Pirate Edition.
The story with the world’s famous file-sharing application LimeWire continues with a secret group of developers who have resurrected it from the dead.
After the Recording Industry Association of America has spent several years and millions of dollars to achieve a court injunction ordering the application to stop all of its operations, it faced a self-described “horde of piratical monkeys” introducing the LimeWire Pirate Edition, rendering all of the Association’s hard work meaningless. The unknown developers announced that they removed all dependencies on the official LimeWire servers, disabled all remote settings, plus unbundled the Ask toolbar and activated all features of the PRO version for free. They explained that the new edition of the application is based on the LimeWire 5.6 beta version, because it had been the best of the available builds. Pirate edition is described as the perfect one, surpassing all of the previous builds by quality, as it has been released without all those pesky toolbars, spyware, and adware that file-sharers had to face.
The team of the developers is sure that the Pirate Edition will work better than the most recent functioning build of the application (5.5.10). Besides, they claim that their creation will keep working for longer, while the most important feature of the renewed software is lack of any spyware or adware. The “piratical monkeys” announced they are doing this for the benefit of the society.
Finally, LimeWire Pirate Edition can boast the following features: AVG Anti-Virus,
turbo-charged downloads, built-in torrent search, optimized search results, lack of any connection problems, toolbars, spyware and adware.
This way, the digital community has to admit that apart from lots of existing obvious alternatives to prohibited P2P application, there’s now also a thing called “Pirate Edition”, and it was created, in particular, to make all of the RIAA’s executives realize they will never win this battle against the community. The only thing the RIAA got right was that people shouldn’t try to profit from these activities like LimeWire Inc. did.

As one actor stated in the movie Independence Day;"I'm Back", and " UP YOURS"........
That was Randy Quaid, and the CORRECT 1st quote was "Hello boys ... I'm Baaack"
The OTHER quote is correct. And I agree, the ONLY thing those idiots understand is MONEY ... what better way to prove a point than costing them a bundle of money and time on a lawsuit that, even when they win, is useless.

Available on ET?? :P
-What Is The Official Page For Download?
Download From Here I Upload It.
RIAA please note UP YOURS!
I don't know how many times it has to be stated. Firstly, musicians make 95% of their money from Live Gigs. MOST of the distributing companies profits go to their shareholders. MOST of the distributing companies profits come from diversification outside of the film or music industry. Music Cds and Film or Music DVDs are overpriced by a factor of about FIVE TIMES or MORE what we should have to pay for them. MOST illegal downloads are by people who in any case CAN'T afford to buy them. The copyright infringement concerns are therefore TARGETTING THE DOWN AND OUT, and trying to preserve the exclusitivity of the 'club' of people who have money. Finally, most of Africa for example would not have been able to listen to ANY Beatles tracks but for P2P. So the message basically to these legal actions from some of the world's richest companies is GET LOST!!!!!!!

LimeWire sending out cease-and-desist letters on LimeWire Pirate Edition

LimeWire sending out cease-and-desist letters on LimeWire Pirate Edition Earlier this week we reported that just two weeks after LimeWire was permanently shut down by a federal ruling, a "secret dev team" had brought the P2P client back, dubbing it the LimeWire Pirate Edition (LPE).
The LPE has the Ask.com toolbar removed, all need for the LimeWire LLC servers removed, all remote settings disabled, and all LimeWire Pro features activated, for free. There is also no adware or spyware.
LPE has been circulating via warez, P2P and torrents sites for a couple of days now.
Apparently, the real LimeWire is not a fan.
"We have very recently become aware of unauthorized applications on the Internet purporting to use the LimeWire name," reads a notice on the LimeWire site.
"We demand that all persons using the LimeWire software, name, or trademark in order to upload or download copyrighted works in any manner cease and desist from doing so. We further remind you that the unauthorized uploading and downloading of copyrighted works is illegal."
it worked for me, but had a lot of the spam files like the original lime wire do decided to get ride of it
