Amazon Will Deliver to Pick-up Lockers in UK Underground Car Parks
The online retailer has confirmed plans to try online shopping pick-up lockers in the underground car parks in June. It seems that Amazon decided to join a string of rivals who already use the tube network.

The UK government is now accused of breaking the law, because it keeps demanding that telecoms and ISPs retain records of phone calls, texts and broadband usage, though the Europe’s highest court said that this breaches the fundamental right to privacy. Now the British government could face a high court challenge and be demanded to strike down the law, which was enacted 5 years ago by the previous Labour administration.
China May Outsource to America

Do you think that things are cheaper in the third world? The Chinese don’t. Not anymore.

The local governments of the United States are trying to attract the Chinese companies to their states in the hope they will set up shop. According to the recent Yahoo news, the free market failed to provide states like Alabama with jobs, and in result the region suffered from a high unemployment rate. The problem was solved after the state began looking for investors from the Communist Henan Province in China.

50% Systems Remain Vulnerable to Heartbleed

The so-called Heartbleed flaw, a vulnerability in much-used encryption standard OpenSSL, was revealed 2 months after, but over 300k systems connected to the Internet are still unprotected against the attacks exploiting the bug. So, two months ago the security researchers scanned web servers and other connected devices and found out that 600,000 systems were affected.
EU Carries on Investigations on Tax Dodges
The European Commission decided to investigate companies registered in Ireland, which can be used as a way to tax heavens. It all started with Apple who was accused of non-paying taxes, but now the Commission may investigate more than just this software giant as part of a probe into the Ireland’s tax practices. The European Union will be investigating whether Ireland, along with its other member states like Luxembourg and the Netherlands, has attracted investment and jobs by helping tech giants avoid tax in other countries, including Europe.
