JOIN 2 AVI FILES AS 1 (cd1 and cd2)

You will need a program like virtualdub free download .....http://www.virtualdub.org/download.html

1.open virtualdub,click file and open your 1st avi (cd1)
2.from the file menu again select append avi,and select your 2nd avi (cd2)
3.in virtualdub click video and set to direct stream,do same with audio though this set to direct stream by default
4.click file in virtualdub and select save as avi...
JOB DONE ENJOY....THEN BURN AS 1 avi with what ever software you got!!!!

When you save your file in step 4 save as the title of your movie as i have done here took hsm3
cd1 and cd2 pukka n now have 1 avi 1.36GB..........

actually just easier to use program like format factory or handbrake join and burn simple

I have been using 2 freeware programs for this.~

Fast Avi MPEG Joiner (for joining)

AviAddxsubs (for adding any subtitles)

often you get a movie with subtitles for the non English parts.and the subs are for CD-1 and CD-2.
I add the subs to each of the parts first then join the 2 together.

Only thing with AviAddxsubs is that it needs the sub files to be named exactly the same as the movie so it can pick them up. you simply put the files in the same folder/directory and its just a 1 click job.
