Ripping the DVD:

First thing is first when ripping a dvd to an xvid in the settings of DVDDecrypter to IFO

Next you want to select the longest file and click on decrypt.



Making an AVI:

After it is done decrypting and saved onto your hdd open AutoGK and select the Video_TS_01.vob in the input file.



feel free to rename the output file name.

More settings we want VBR not CBR so click on Advanced Settings



I preffer atleast 128kbps audio, you dont want it to high because you want to keep the video bitrate as high as you can 800-1000+ is good on Videobitrate. Keep the codec XViD Not DiVX.

By clicking Ctrl+F9 also brings up some more options for you aswell.



Make sure to enable stand alone play or ppl wont be able to burn it.

Determining how many CD's to make it a scene rule is anything over 90mins requires atleast 2 CD's 700Mb each. If its under 90mins make it one CD 700Mb, tv shows around 45 mins or so can go on 350Mb.

Once you have all your settings that you need click on add job and click start and wait, this could take awhile depending on the processor that you have in your pc.



Creating a Sample:

Making the sample from the files you just made using VirtualDubMod
Samples are roughly about a min long. Open VDM and select the avi file. If it askes you to change it to CBR select No we want to keep the VBR.

Find a place in the avi that you would like to use for your sample using the slide bar down at the bottom. In the Edit menu select "Set Selection Start" now move the slide bar about a min ahead of the start then click in the Edit Menu again and choose "Set Selection End".

When you are done doing that click on Video and click on "Direct Stream Copy" then save it and your done.

Packaging Your newly created movie:

Make a folder and name it whatever the movie is i.e. Batman.Begins.2005.DVDRip.XViD-GKN ..GKN are my releases so use your own not hard to make up

Here is were winrar comes into play you want to rar the files into 15Mb "15M" .rars compression method "store" also make another folder for the sample. once that is done you want to use hksfv to make an sfv file. Right click a rar file and click on "create sfv".

Getting Info from your AVI with Gspot:

Right click on your avi file and open with Gspot. You will need this information when it comes to making the NFO file so keep it open while making the NFO



Making an NFO File:

Open Coolbeans NFO creator



Enter as much information as you can, also use "Notes" To add a description of the movie and the cast listing from the IMDb site. When you are all done save it in the same folder that your avi is in. You can also view what it looks like in Template mode and loading it and you can also edit it aswell to take out anything you dont like in it.
