Due to on-going illnesses I have to move into a warden controlled flat and need to buy a new TV.

I’m looking for a 30 to 40 inch TV which I can somehow connect my PC to.
What should I be looking for?

I have a few hundred pounds to spend but as I’ve always said, buy cheap, buy twice.

Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

I live in the UK so if anybody knows of any bargins going that would also be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

well for tv go for Philips sony panasonic. then find out if its plasma ect your after then the size go for like 42 inc ect.

there nothing wrong with samsung other then they are generaly cost 50 % for the design ect so why pay 50% for a wierd design ect that my opinion +

After looking and reading loads of online reviews I ended up with a
47" LG 47lv355t.

Never had chance to give it a good coat of looking at yet, just moved house but up to now it looks an excellent choice.

Thanks for all your help lads.

You won't go far wrong with an LG. Most of the UK tv manufacturers use an LG panel anyway.
It's a good idea to wall mount it too, just don't go paying extortionate prices from the likes of Comet/Currys etc. An odd job bloke could fixup the wallbracket you can pick up in Tesco or Asda for £20ish (for the bracket) and a tenner to the bloke.
Nowhere near Swansea are you?? i'd pop round and sort it for you

I agree with you , I would recommend LG 47 LW 6500 with passive cinema 3d Technology,
- I am using last one year , I compared it with samsung active 3d models, I found passive 3d is the best.
