Conversion issue, any suggestions?

First of all, I use CONVERTX2DVD version 18.104.22.1685 for all my conversions. I am having issues with certain downloads that won't convert. In the preview screen, it just shows still shots. When the conversion has completed, the audio appears to be correct, but the video is just a bunch of stagnant photo images. This problem seems to stem from one uploader and I have spoken with him asking for advice on what I am possibly doing wrong and he has no idea. The weird thing is, I download almost everything the uploader graciously shares with us and this problem only happens say 1 out of 20 movies. Not a big deal but I am unable to save the problem movies to DVD regardless. Oh, the movies can be watched using VLC with no problems.
So, I am just asking if anyone else has experienced this issue and could possible share their knowledge?
Thanks in advance!

Not sure about the driver you mentioned, but I have been using the program for several years now and this problem just started and only on about 4 or 5 torrents since it began happening. And only from 1 uploader which I know it has to be something on my end that is going wrong. As I said earlier, I download from this source constantly. Guess I should just be grateful I can watch the movies at least. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for the reply. I responded to your message. Since then, I have downloaded 2 different movies from the same source and one converts with no issues and one has the same issue- freezing up and showing basically a slide show of scenes while the audio plays. I will take your suggestion by uninstalling and reinstalling the program.

This may be a sideways approach, but try one of the movies your having problems with on DVDVideosoft's free converter (you can download the individual tool or the complete suite of tools, all freeware and it works)
If there is a problem with the encode from DVDVsoft then there may be a problem with your download.
What format is the file you've downloaded? and was it a .rar to start with?
I've had problems with .rar files and 7zip where the complete file doesn't get extracted, the issue disappears with winrar so i've stuck with that.
