Better Resolution Torrents

OK, why does everyone upload such low-res(between 300-400MB) videos, especially episodes. Fine if planning on downloading to watch on a PSP, small TV, portable DVD Player, etc... but doesn't provide very good picture for viewing on screens over 20" or so.

I'm guessing it's to save on upload/download time, but as far as I'm concerned, I'd rather it take days to download a quality file than an hour or two for low quality that's a waste of a blank disc IMO.

Anyone know if there is a site where uploads are all/mostly duplicates, or close to it, of originals? If not, there should be IMO!
