Well, you're in luck, because there are some great seedbox companies out there willing to suit your needs.

MANY seedbox and server companies, are scamming people. The ones like Xirvik, say their "dedicated" but in fact that's a lie. If you buy a "dedicated" server or seedbox, and they do NOT give you root access, then you're being scammed! Their are other users on the box/server, and they don't want you to see it. If you pay for dedicated, you should be given root. That's the facts.
BlazinSeedBoxes was created for this reason. The founders (including myself) had been using various server hosting companies, which were all lying to their customers and ripping them off. This is why we decided to create this company. It's non-profit, they only charge exactly what it costs to operate.
They do this because they believe you should get the maximum speed and best service available. You should get what you pay for.
The big benefits are as follows if you're an uploader, you create the torrent on your PC, using either your torrent client, or FTP client, you upload your new release directly to the seedbox/server BEFORE you upload it to torrent sites. Once you're finished uploading it to your box, then you upload the torrent to the torrent sites, and it does all the seeding for you! No seeding from home ever again.
You'll get insane speeds, that you never could possibly get from home. Also you'll NEVER risk giving out your own IP address, which is what you do when you seed from home.
EVEN IF YOU DON'T UPLOAD... Seedboxes are great. You simply add a .torrent file to the webui (which is an online uTorrent that you get your own link to), and then when it finishes, you use FTP (such as filezilla) to download the torrent safely and at your maximum speed to yourself! You can get all your movies/games/music/porn/ etc without ever risking giving out your IP address, and never having to worry about getting a letter from your ISP. It's super fast, super safe, and beneficial.
Another great reason for them, are if you're on a fast 0 day private tracker. There is NO better way to build your ratio, than to add a .torrent to the box, and let it seed back 50 or 60 GB's to add to your ratio in a matter of an hour or two. They're great for ratio.

I know most of you don't. Not that you don't want to but because it kills your connection. This is no longer a worry with a seedbox. And Blazin is the best. | |

Having seed box sounds like a good idea, but the website is a little vague in the sense of how it all works. For instance a 50 gig box, is that how much data you can store in it at anyone time? What I mean is, if I had 50 gigs of data in it would I have to empty some of the files out so that I could continue using it?

| Posted: Wed Feb 10, 2010 14:25 Author: Hey guys, lately I've been trying different approaches to hide my identity using torrents. I'm currently testing btguard (but boy-oh-boy is it SLOW!). Was browsing the forums here when I came across this post. I'm a casual torrent user but building a kick ass XBMC media player and collecting some good BRRIPS. Would something like a seedbox be useful for a casual downloader and seeder (not uploader?).
Also what logs are stored on these servers? What's the likely hood of you being raided and handing over all the IP logs? Just curious..
One other thing, I have a neat automated system set up where I can initiate downloads directly from my iPhone. It works by creating a dynamic RSS feed that utorrent picks up throughout the day. Are RSS feeds available on the seedbox utorrent web gui, or is the web gui easily accessible by iPhone?

Customer service is practically non-existent and it seems to have got worse in the last year.
I've had multiple issues with downtime and the staff are quick to blame the customers ISP or an unpaid invoice which was usually paid on time. The downtime issues always end up being a damaged switch port or a damaged fiber link after much prodding.
Be warned if you need to pay your invoice late due to a hardship. These fellows will not let you back in to get your data without paying for another month. Also they claim to hand out credits for downtime which I still have yet to see applied to any of my invoices or my Paypal account.

I've been with blazin for a couple of years now and never have issues of any kind,especially down time.I know some of the staff there and they are extremely dependable.I highly recommend them to anyone looking for servers,seedboxes or vpn's.
