Who are the real Pirates

I was looking at some things on the net and came across this which makes me wonder if major labels have forgotten what true pirates are.

EU NAVFOR may extend the area in which it carries out its anti-piracy mission in recognition of the fact that some attacks mounted by Somali are taking place closer to India than to Africa, the multinational naval deployment’s commander told journalists in London on Thursday.
