How To Check and Burn Xbox 360 Games

First Things First
# Make sure your Xbox 360 has the latest iXtreme firmware flashed on the drive (as of writing this, the latest firmware is iXtreme 1.6).

# Make sure you have a dual-layer writing DVD burner. If you don't - go and get one NOW.

# Make sure the discs you have are DVD+R DL.

# Install ImgBurn.Get It Here !!!
# Install abgx360. Get It Here !!!

WHAT TO DO

Downloading and Extracting

First of all, you quite obviously want to acquire a game.

Once it has downloaded, go to its folder:

Right-click any of the .R** files and click "Extract Here"

Soon enough, you'll have two new files there, in that same folder. One ending in a .DVD extension, the other in a .ISO extension.

Check game in abgx360

Now, before you go ahead and burn off the game, you should check it for any defects which could possibly lead to you getting your console banned from Xbox LIVE.
To try and ensure a downloaded game is problem-free, we use a nifty little program called abgx360. I told you to install it, so now go and launch it.

# You can see the various tabs, and in them, there are various options. Now do exactly as I tell you to.
Go to the Options tab, check the following

# Check/Create .dvd file
# Check Stealth
# Verify if Stealth passes
# Check/Fix Video padding
# Check for AnyDVD style game data corruption
# Check for updates
# Check Game Partition CRC when needed

# Now to the Manually Patch or Extract Files tab:

# Patch even if stealth passes

# Autofix tab:

# AutoFix Threshold: Level 3 - AutoFix if stealth passes but fails verification
# Fix C/R Table if data is invalid
# Adjust angles that deviate more than 3 degrees from their CCRT targets

# Rebuilding tab:

# Default Method

# Misc tab:

# Your console's region code: (Click select and choose your region from the list)
# SplitVid: Add it if it doesn't exist or isn't valid

Now go to File > Save Settings and click OK. Those settings are saved in abgx360 everytime you load it.

Now for the simple task of loading the .ISO file into abgx360. Click the

button and select the .ISO (in this case, nig-ghm.iso)

Click OK, then click Launch. A DOS window will load up and start the verification tests.
Things to look out for here:
If you get green writing, all systems are go, everything is fine. After the tests are complete, read on.

My abgx360 results:

Burn game with ImgBurn

Moving on now, assuming everything went well, launch ImgBurn.

Go to Tools > Settings and click on the Write tab. Again, do as I tell you. Go to the Layer Break (For DL Media) section, click on User-Specified, and type in 1913760 in the text box labelled Sectors in L0. This is a just-in-case precaution - abgx360 creates a .DVD file which specifies this information, but you can never be too careful, hence this.

After doing this, go ahead and close ImgBurn. Pop a DVD+R DL into your DVD burner, and go back to the directory where the .ISO is. This time, go and double click on the .DVD file. ImgBurn should load up automatically.

The only thing left for you to do is to set the speed of the burn. I use 8x and I only burn on Verb's, other disc use cheap dye and can cause the laser in the drive to overwork. Some people still say use 2.4, most burners will not even burn that slow, but choice is yours.

Now, just click http://lookpic.com/t/23/kSGncsCo.png and your burn will start. It should be done within 10-20 minutes, depending on the speed you set and your DVD burner.

After it's done, a nice little tune will play, and if you checked the option Eject Tray, the DVD will come out too.

HOW TO RE-RIP YOUR BACKUPS

Open up ImgBurn.

Click "Create image file from disc"

You'll get the following screen:

If you want to change the filename or where you want to save the .ISO to, click

on the Destination section of the screen, and you'll get a Save To dialog box.

You can also change the read speed to a lower one for prevention of possible read errors. To do so, go to the Settings area of the screen and change the read speed:

When you're done, click

and ImgBurn will start reading the disc.

Again, after it's done, a nice little tune will play, and if you checked the option Eject Tray, the DVD will come out too.

Most important if you use anydvd (program) make sure it is closed or you will corrupt your burn!

I am trying to burn the game using imgburn, however the message appears that there is no enough space
file size 8334 MB
disc space 8152 MB

could someone help me with this.
