Here a few Screens From both Games and a bit of Info
The game will utilize a new server architecture to support online battles with up to 256 players, with users divided into 8-player squads, with 4 squads forming a platoon, and 4 platoons forming a company. Each squad will be led by a player who has advanced through the game's ranking system. Character statistics and development will also increase with frequent gameplay. The players most advanced in rank will be able to either direct the battle or participate directly in combat.
Basic battles will take place within ongoing, faction-based campaigns to encourage the player to actively play. The game's E3 unveiling trailer featured large landscapes, tactics such as air strikes and parachuting, and a variety of vehicles, from tanks and APCs to airplanes.
Players will be able to customize the face, voice, and armor of their characters, as well as what weapons and kit they carry into battle. The game will be a first-person shooter.
On November 5, 2009, DICE announced a beta for Bad Company 2. Different game-related sites held contests to obtain beta codes. Retailers also gave a beta code to the customer when they pre-order the game, however, Gamestop will not allow you to cancel the pre-order once you receive a beta code from them. The PS3 version of the beta started on November 19 , while the PC version will be available in early 2010.
The beta features one map from the full game, called Arica Harbor, and is only open for the "Rush" game mode. There are two teams, attackers and defenders. Attackers are trying to destroy a set of computer crates by arming a timed explosive charge, or destroying the crates with force. The attackers have a limited number of tickets, and lose one ticket every time someone from their team dies, but gain a substantial amount of tickets when a crate gets destroyed. Defenders try to defend the crates from being destroyed until the attackers have no more tickets for reinforcements.
The beta has been generally well received by the community, and the forums are an active spot to provide feedback about the game.
The PC beta has been delayed until Q1 of 2010, with a full demo for all three platforms being released later.
