For a site that is so often asking its members for help, and is so dependent on member support along with those annoying penny per click porn popups. I am curious as to why they would choose to use and promote a donation method that is so limited and controversial in its application.
I am certain others have said it - but using Bitcoin payment method is a great big pain in the ass, and thats without its reported links to the black market, terrorism and drug smuggling.
I find it difficult to believe there has been an increase in VIP donations since adopting Bitcoin, so why has the site and its owners settled for such a limited option - are they now making so much money with TrustZone VPN that VIP donation is no longer important...
For the members who wish to contribute, but dont want to fool around with the complicated journey of joining 5 sites to perform one action there should be another option - there should be an option for dedicated members to support the site they love...
BITCOIN OPTION IS SHIT!!!

its because most other payment option reject torrent sites and ones that dont usually want legit credentials the way things are going legally in the torrent world bitcoin is the safer option
iv seen a few tricks other site use like donating to a game server via paypal but eventually they pull the plug on them to because members always rat them out
Torrent site owners cant use paypal like stuff , it is huge security risk ..
you need my suggestion ? If you want to help them just disable your adblocker for ET and If possible try to click on banner ads sometimes .. You can also help that way too
How about some Extratorrent Merchandise... i think an ET T-shirt would be cool but draw the line at the ET Y-fronts...the worlds biggest
BitTorrent ??? lol might reconsider if they are clearly marked TrustZone!
Actually that is not a bad idea LRS - TrustZone is a legit business venture I would assume. What if I wanted to buy an ET The Place 2 Be (One Side) TrustZone The Place 2 be's Most Reliable VPN T Shirt
and received the VIP when purchasing the shirt or the VIP membership exclsusively.
Do away with the whole donation thing anyway - offer a members only package TrustZone, TShirt & VIP

paypal are very strict anything related to torrent sites they suspend accounts
et t-shirt,toilet paper, tickets etc.. anything the points to et falls under donation to the site things like that wont work its all been tried at other sites
Well when VIP came back BUT with Bitcoin and all were asking how to ? how to ?
I wrote a thread which I myself found very annoying coz for 20$ worth Bitcoin I spent almost 26-30$ don't reckon exact fee amount but it was too high.
ET Merchandise i.e. t shirts, toilet papers or the famous jj's art gallery collection on the shirts lol a good option but hard to ship 'em lol.
I've been lurking to too many p2p sites all accept Bitcoin coz its "Anonymous" one can never know (noobs mostly) from where its coming and to where its going. And then most sites just use those Bitcoin received as donations to compensate their servers and all expense, well what a better way to be "Anonymous" in a P2P world that... well non P2P hates. I would go with this way tbh as a site owner.
With all that said I'd say there is a way not easy for site owners but not hard either and that is "Amazon Payments". So million dollar question How? and how come Amazon links and accepts P2P. I do know many must've seen this , some sites using it, they just use some xyz site (hosting, selling etc) and use that account to accept donations. Site owners can try it if they want just a suggestion.
Now I bet some will whine about it but at least we're gonna have some "Action in Forum"
PS: Imagine if it comes alive, I'd be waiting for jj's art gallery being sold as t shirts and $$$ received via Amazon and get a VIP at ET... The Place To Be!
finally thank you, i cant imagine the owners of this site are so casually willing to leave money on the table without exploring every possible opportunity...
From a business perspective i would be curious what percentage of membership donations have been since adopting the insane and somewhat dodgy Bitcoin method, which would explain the need for a profitable venture like TrustZone even with all of the reported server problems and unplanned disconnects.
I mean seriously having a VPN service that have frequent drop and disconnects is like selling condoms with holes in them...
Honestly - with all the problems with this site I wonder whats really happening -
No chat til hell frezzes over
Bitcoin limitations - great with geeks who like to join 5 sites to perform 1 action
No Paypal - no solution
TrustZone service is unreliable at best - though its sold as the best - much like the now defunct seedbox venture
