This started happening in the last couple days. I am using the Torch browser and have switched to the new extra.to domain. I am logged in. The home page shows the menus and the left panel (articles, most searched, First Cams, etc) but the popular torrents are empty. The screen capture is attached. What could be wrong?

Edit: I specified an attachment but it didn't upload???

you will need 10 review points in order to post links. If you beg enough, cry enough and pout enough there are surely some members who will give you what you need out of pity. I also suggest you use a different browser, the one your using sucks SRIGGA's ass.

Cat, thank you for your response. I only use Torch because, when I download a torrent file, it automatically triggers uTorrent to open the downloaded file. That's it, the only reason for my use of Torch. If you have suggestions for another browser that will do the same, please let me know.

if use a ad-blocker then trash it, and also update your browser.

For a Browser I would suggest Firefox or Opera.
First time you try to DL a Torrent they should ask you what
client you wish to have handle Torrent files. They will
remember that choice if you choose.
I use Firefox, I use NO 3rd party AD blockers, I don't
have any problems here at all.

IE, Chrome, Tor, are pure crap! Not sure about Sriggas Ass tho! LOL

I was having issues with Firefox with the same problem as in the original post aswell, but seeing your comment I disabled the adblock I was using on ET and it's all good again, thanks Faithwyn

You're welcome. Did you find the Content & Security settings
under:Tools/Options? There's a few boxes in there you can
check to stop alot of crap. I do use the Paid version of
Malwarebytes it catches a lot nastiness from Websites.
You might be surprised how even some Torrent trackers are
Malicious!

Yep, removing the ad blocker extension fixed the problem. Thank you everyone.

Incidentally, my normal browser is Firefox, and I will look into getting it to handle torrents automatically.

Go to: Tools/Options/Applications
Scroll down to "Torrent.file"
You can choose there from any clients you have installed.
Mine is set to: "Always Ask" Which shows uTorrent 2.1 as
the default but allows me to choose from 4 other clients
I sometimes use for testing purposes.

Faithwyn, thanks again. I did what you said, and set .torrent file handler to uTorrent. UNFORTUNATELY, I have a dialog that comes up when I click on a torrent file:

Opening
You have chosent to open:
... .torrent
What should Firefox do with this file?
Open with uTorrent (default)
Save File
Do this automatically for files like this from now on.

The first time this happened, I checked the 'Save File' and 'Do this automatically' boxes. But the dialog kept popping up for the ensuing instances. The setting does not seem to stick, for some reason.

Edit: I keep getting 503 errors while using the site. I am fearful that the site will croak.

Edit: The use of Firefox's application handler (on Windows 7 at least) results in two unnecessary clicks: one to save the .torrent file, and another to open it (using the downloads button). There is no way to bring up uTorrent directly. This seems to be a known bug with FF (I have the link, I'm not allowed to post it).

The add-on (InlineDisposition 2) proposed in the aforementioned thread changes the nature of the problem but in the end, does not help.

Faithwyn, I bet if you changed your setting to directly open .torrent files, you will see that you can't do it.

I use "Open With" not save. I want uTorrent to open torrent & load it.

Everyone is getting a lot of 503 errors... and many more.

Faithwyn, thanks to your prodding, I got it to work w/ Firefox. For anyone else w/ the same problem, see issue # 1039640 at the Mozilla support site. Install 1) InlineDisposition 2 extension, 2) remove mimeTypes.rdf file, 3) restart FF.

Faithwyn, thanks so much, too bad I can't upvote you.
