the same type of media player is available in k-lite mega codec pack..
very cool..this media player plays almost all types of files...cuz it self is a codec pack..

| Posted: Mon Apr 12, 2010 20:22 Author:  never had to bother with VLC because Media Player Classic (MPC) is so small, while it runs it cools your CPU... not really but its that freaking small, this allows more processor to be used on the codecs to play the same film better. You can watch one movie on one player and compare it on MPC and it should show better video performance (smoother, crisper, brighter, less clipping...) VLC is a mainstream player and ive never heard anything bad about it, but MPC is so small i think you can put it on a 3.5 inch floppy and it doesnt need to be "installed" its just a stand alone executable that runs whatever codecs you have on your comp. OH and it will play everything... i cant think of one file type it wont play. Im old school though. |
