|  Posted: Tue Mar 02, 2010 06:45  I've seen this on a few other sites where a particular torrent is picked and named as torrent of the month or week etc,I think this would be a great addition to this site as it would be beneficial to the new members and rewarding/motivational to the many great uploaders who don't get the recognition they deserve eg animation section,software,music books, pictures.These particular genres don't have a hot/featured section.
If this were to be implemented the torrents should not only be picked by the number of hits but rather by comments presentation and originality,some great uploaders in my opinion in the above mentioned sections should be recognized let me name a few
Animation:Karakaruchow,Khayali,Swee2
Music:Asbo.Methodmuzik,Saranghae
Pictures:Inerto1,Wallpapersxplore
Software:oziman,rubak1
Many others as well,I think this would be a good addition to the site. |

| Posted: Fri Mar 26, 2010 11:39 Author: Well everyone has a different standpoint its not about hundreds of useless comments its just a extra boost for some.Everyday i look at the featured section and i see a movie put in there that was u/l by someone else days ago yet another more lets say popular encoder or u/l releases it and that get puts in to the featured section to me that makes no sense so this if it were to be implemented is a different concept then the featured section. |

Maybe a way to take charge of this idea is to monitor the number of downloads?
Get a group of uploaders to each section and see who gets most downloads each month.. number of comments(?)
Newcomer of the month(?)
Most Downloaded file of the month(?)
Most uploaded file of the month(?)
staff of the month(?) -> voted by fellow colleagues
----> Retard of the month(?)
