Hey everyone, pretty sure that most of you have all heard a story like this, but on Friday one of my Girlfriends students was suspended from school for a week because he posted on facebook that he was gonna kill some kid he wanted to fight

WTF is wrong with people. I know where, and when I went to school (early and into the mid 90's) that was pretty much the standard format, someone pissed you off, you let them know that they were dead after school if you wanted to fight.

Why should he be suspended from school because of Facebook (as long as it wasn't accessed from a school terminal anyway)? I think thats worth hiring a lawyer for. People are becoming too sensitive.

hahahaha so true, so true. But I think most kids fail to realize and I think this is a rather harsh way to learn the lesson, that whatever you do, or whatever comes out of your mouth can and will come back and bite you in the ass.

lol not my friend, one of my girlfriend's students had this happen. Oh, I realize that it is stupid. But I do not think it should have been the school to deal with it.
