Ive uploaded my first torrent recently (slow seed)...

So I actually fixed (kinda) this. I stopped using utorrent to up since it was only upping at 20kb/s and reopened the torrent in bitlord (which i used up until last week) and im now upping at the old 500kb+. Anyone know why the H that wouldve happened. (And no i wasnt using the upload less than 20kb/s limit)

Oh and another ?, if im upping on these 2 different programs is it really like me upping at 550 + 20kb/s because i noticed the 20kb/s upload speed didnt drop when i used the 550 one and vice versa. Whats the deal with dual-client uploading in other words...

Not sure here. I'd say that you've probably tried to tweak some of the settings in Utorrent and it backfired. Either that or one of either your U/L speed or D/L speed is limited.

Suggestion would be to either have a look at the links below and try to troubleshoot yourself or for a quick fix you can just uninstall/reinstall Utorrent to bring the default settings back into effect.

As for speed, it's the culmination of your overall bandwidth that will give you speed. Not any particular torrent client. You can have more than a few open at once and still achieve extremely good speeds (bandwidth allowing). Anyways, one idea to see just what kind of speeds you're capable of ... I'd do a speedtest. From there, take these numbers and be aware that your max for both U/L and D/L are roughly 1/10th of the figures you see.
