litlle help for new pirate ;)

I decided to make a thread that kinda goes over everything a new pirate needs. Including links, abbreviations and anything else a new pirate might need.

Downloading Apps:
Windows:
uTorrent
Azereus

Those are the most popular Windows applications. It is highly recommended you use one of those two apps as they support the most features and work well with all the trackers.

Mac:
Transmission
BitRocket

Linux:
Transmission
rTorrent

Helpful Apps:
Peerguardian Will block known anti piracy organizations
Azereus Plugin List

Trackers:
The Pirate Bay
MiniNova
SuprNova
Demoniod
IsoHunt (US users need to use a proxy)

Programs to Open and Burn your Pirated Files:
For Rar or any other compressed file use WinRAR
To Burn a video to DVD use Nero
To Mount any Image File use Daemon Tools

Lingo:
TPB = The Pirate Bay
Seeder = Someone that has the full file and is uploading
Leecher = Someone without the full file - Can be uploading as well as downloading
Tracker = Website that keeps track of Seeders/Leechers and indexes torrents.
Crack = A file that will overwrite the original allowing you to run an illegal copy of the software. (Usually a game)
Keygen = A program used to randomly generate a serial number for certain software. (Adobe Products have many Keygens available for example)
Sate= Section8 = Leader of all things good and holy

Also this is not meant to be every little thing you need such as codecs and whatnot, just what you need to start pirating.
