Sorry, but I am getting a little confused. Is it correct that e.g. ANY ilibr.org tracker is banned, but on the other hand http://denis.stalker.h3q.com:6969/announce is banned while http://denis.stalker.h3q.com/announce is a suggested tracker on the upload page? Is it a different tracker just because it uses another port? Sorry if that question may seem dull but I'm beginning to lose the idea of which trackers to use and which not to. Many of the suggested trackers have been down for about 80% of the time and maybe it'd be easier to provide a list of say 20 - 30 (hopefully reliable) trackers to choose from.

EDITED: Hm, just recognized the original date Anyway, the question remayins the same: Wouldn't it be better to have a list of trackers to use?

Thanks m8, but I know this list. However, genesis and denis seem to be down most of the time, same was true for nemesis a while back. At least this is my experience when I create and test my torrents before I ul them. So when publicbt and openbittorrent got into trouble end of last month, that left most of my torrents virtually dead. So my idea was that it might be more efficient to maintain a little longer list of recommended trackers and just allow trackers from that list (assuming that it might be possible to prevent torrents which don't comply from being uploaded) instead of keeping a list of banned trackers, which in my opinion can get quite confusing. If my assumption is wrong, then this is all BS, of course and you can safely forget about my post
