Its a .mkv file extension and i have not used those before, when i try opening it windows uses windows movie maker, but it only wants me to delete the files. Do i need to get another program to view? I hope i didnt waste 5hrs for nothing Any help would be greatly appreciated thnx!

	Posted: Mon Apr 26, 2010 03:18 Author: moksha Just get the latest k-lite codec pack and you'll be able to play .mkv files in almost all players. You can even use window media player. I would recommend MPCstar, though.
