X-B0X 360 mod tips

If anybody as ever had the dreaded RROD on the xbox 360 then find this a dam good fix which you can adapt yourself like i have done. You can either use the original x-clamps and use them on the inside or like me get some plates made up (from my old engineering firm) for the shims/foam etc you can use a mouse mat the cheapo ones you get from superstore in uk they retail for 60p lol..You then make your shims yourself...You can also cut the rear fans if have a spare set and use one as an extra cooloing for the gpu heatsink as in my pic. Both the rear and extra fans i run at 12volt the rear fans tap into the the dvd drive 12volt power supply and the small fan is soldered to a chip under the drive which is 12volt....B4 i do the fix i heatgun every single one and use liquid solder .....
