General Tutorials : How to create info.txt and .nfo.

This will give you a pro looking info txt for all your uploads.......
The template below will get rid of all of the "unnecessary" rubbish and make your torrent info look much more neat.
It can,of course,be edtited by yourself.......
You only need to set this up once..

For this job you need:
Gspot: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/gspot252dl.html
Notepad

A). Open your Notepad and copy paste the below formatting template.

FPS.......: %VIDEO_FRAMES_PER_SEC%\r\n

Audio alignment.......: %CONT_INTERLEAVE_ALIGN%\r\n
Interleave.......: %CONT_INTERLEAVE_TIME%ms\r\n
Preload.......: %CONT_INTERLEAVE_PRELOAD%ms\r\n\r\n

1. Select file > Save as:



2). Info.txt. Save in Gspot Folder because it is a template file, you need this for any future .NFO(s) or txt. files.



. Now open Gspot.
1. Select Options > Export



1. Check: enable exporting.
2. Select: Custom using the format file below
3. Browse the Info.txt you have saved previous in Gspot Folder.
4. Check: Allow Overwrite
5. One File Per Avi (auto-name & location)(default option)
6. Save as Default
7. Hit ok & close Gspot.



Gspot now is setup!!!

The last step:

Now go to movie you like to make an .NFO. or txt. file.
1). Right-click > Open With > Gspot Codec Information Appliance



Allow it to complete

Close Gspot.
A text document will appear in the same directory.
This will do for all your torrent info on demonoid.
If you want to make it a .nfo file -
Open the text document with notepad.
1). Select file > Save as: Leave the name and change the extension .txt to .nfo



Your .nfo or txt file is ready & will look like this:



You need to manualy add the IMDB Link & the rating.

I hope this is of some use to people struggling to supply info to there upploaded torrents...

Thanks poster, nice tutorial, but GSpot does not install to my pc,also when i click on the move like you say! using GSpot to open it up with, this does not happen, the only options i have are the ones already have in stalled KMplayer or windows media player,please advice me what i have done wrong, i follow your instrutions, cheers

Nothing happens Big, did what the poster said,also i saved the file, but GSpot did not install to start of with,it d/l as a rar file! which i thought it would ask me to install it? but it didn,t, so i click the application which open up, no folder, no intallation icon, NOTHING shame really as this is a useful tool.
