Three of the 4 comments say proxys don't work and their seems to be no way to test proxys so whats going on here ? Does any one have links for free proxys that work and instructions for testing this software to insure it works with our pcs? I've been playing with Peerblock and so far that seems to be then best, then Ivp6, Its hidden, hotspot,tor etc and they either slow things down a lot or block torrent loading and worse i have no way of checking to make sure that i am protected against the bad guys, so i guess for now until more testing is done the only hope for now is peer block and a free VPN and never forgeting they never protect at 100% and their are no guarantees ! ! later . .

	Posted: Sun Jul 11, 2010 03:01 Author: SkYnEtCeNtRaL As far as i see it, proxy is really for web surfing... this is a benifit if you want to get back into a site like et after a IP ban or a prv site for simular reasons. Not really any other benifit, not safetly cause groups arent monitoring web activity in that sence. the only way to be as safe as possible is to not connect to peers on a download and using a server to connect to those peers to retrieve the file, then downloading from the server to your pc with FTP or SFTP.
