first off anyone asking for credit card details only sounds like a scam to me plus they would have contacted your isp not you and if ur in the uk ignore it they cant do shit to u anyway if u have no money to pay they wont throw u in jail our jails are full lol and there not gona send u to the US lol and to protect urself u can use peerguardian,peerblock,utorrent ipfilter but none of them will really keep u safe,seedboxes are about the safest way to download torrents but you have to pay monthly for those but you can get them quiet cheap depending on your needs if you dont know wot a seedbox is read this and to find a few good seedbox suppliers go here and here
