|  Posted: Mon Oct 04, 2010 04:52  I downloaded; The.Karate.Kid.2010.480p.BRRip.XviD.AC3-ViSiON.torrent (2,372,029,295 bytes) and have received a copyrights infringement from my ISP.
The complaint comes from; SonyPicturesEntertainment < [email protected]>.
I am going to reply to their email and apologize profusely!
I've downloaded alot of movies but this hasn't happened before!
Can someone please help me know, is there a way to prevent this from happening in the future??? |

Thanx to reno.99999 and saveit4later, seedbox or VPN sounds good, but whats the best thing to do about the issue? Should I just forget about it? |

How can I enjoy ExtraTorrent, when my ISP said that they would ban my IP address if I didn't cease these activities.
I need a safe way to download, reno.99999 said: Get a seedbox or VPN.
The thing is I'm a newbie, is one better than the other or which one is easier to use?
Someone please give me some advice.

| Posted: Mon Oct 04, 2010 16:48 Author: With a seedbox it dl's to that and then you ftp to your computer, so your isp never sees your download. A VPN is a hidden network, so your isp again doesnt see what content you are downloading. Paying for either of these IMO does not slow down speeds at all, in fack most help. The free programs suck resources, IMO don't work and at the end of the day do nothing but cause problems. If you are just worried about dl'ing content then a seedbox is a great addition. If you are worried about sites you may go to as well, VPN would be a great choice. I personally use a seedbox, but before that I only ever used ipfitler and never got a letter, but my ISP provider is also very small. Hope that helps
As for ET being in Copyright, etc. That is due to the fact that files are not saved or stored on ET servers, all ET does is direct you to where the files are. |

| No you don't need to purchase a seed box in your location.Basically just look at the suppliers and pick the one that suits your budget no matter where in the world it might be located.
I use Xirvik and find service,price and support really good.To find out more about them check them out here http://www.xirvik.com/
They also have very good tutorials explaining VPN,and for setting up seedboxes,FTP ans Http proxys.
