I downloaded the latest version at the vlc player download page but for some reason it keeps crashing all the time. I had the same issues before but they usually went away after reinstallation. 	Posted: Fri Mar 25, 2011 15:11 Author: timgar I've been using vlc for a while now but just tried updating to 1.1.8 but now antivirus spitting out virus/Trojan warning . Tried reinstalling 1.1.4 and 1.1.5 same thing. using avg free atm might install something better i think bit of a bummer as its nice program to watch my vids with, when they had subtitle files bit more reading seams like false reading of antivirus ,,

	Posted: Fri Mar 25, 2011 15:27 Author: LionKiller I had same problem, i asked a frnd of mine and he suggest me to uninstall vlc, than i use klite mega codec pack latest version which comes with Media Player Classic - home cinema now i use that only and there is no problem. i tried to know the reason for vlc which i found that few divx dll become useless because of vlc that may be the reason.

	Posted: Fri Apr 01, 2011 06:08 Author: DEMONLORD i have a video file where the audio is 20 seconds ahead of the video and the audio sync tool does not work for some reason. it made it even further apart. anyone know the proper way of working with this? i used minus to delay the audio but made it worser. i have the latest version, 1.1.8 of vlc
