Attempting to update any software obtained by 'other' methods, is, in my view, both foolish and risky..download it by all means, use it for a month then delete it.
Do NOT update it...a huge amount of software 'phones home' if you attempt to update it.
It is of course, your choice on what to do, but if you make a note of where you got it from in the first place, you can always go back and download it again, and use it for another month without updating it...this will reduce the percentages of you getting a virus.
As for downloading an antivirus prog, or similar software by 'other' methods' I urge you NOT too, this is the one item of software you NEED to keep your PC clean and free of infection, download any anti-virus prog with 'other' methods and you might as well leave your front door open all night, if you get my meaning.
Buy it, ok, I know it costs...but weigh that against a new H/D, or worst case scenario, a new PC...not to mention the fact it's entirely possible you could infect others through Messenger or Email without you even knowing it.
I will never understand why people pay anything up to £700:00/$1200:00 for a PC, then go and download some rinky-dink piece of crap antivirus off the web which infects it from the word go.

Oziman is right but I use the next crack for about 4 months and it'is OK
http://extratorrent.cc/torrent/2253103/Kaspersky+Blacklist+Cracker+%7B%24harad%7D.html
Kaspersky sometimes will tell you: black list not found, so you close Kaspersky and when you open again it all it's OK.
The intruders are blocked, I'm sure about this crack!
