wmp12 dont display sub mp4

I download the brrip movies to watch on my hdtv, the only problem is i can't play subs with it. I tried other players, where it does display subs. The problem here is that wmp has better quality then the other players i used. Any ideas on how i can let wmp play subs in mp4?

i have the codecs, VLC player and Classic.. The quality isn't as good as with wmp12

On Windows 7, both Windows Media Player and Media Center make use of the Media Foundation framework instead of DirectShow for playing certain file types. As a result, DirectShow subtitle filters like DirectVobSub are not used. Media Foundation lacks native support for many common subtitle formats.

You have to take control away from MFP there looks to be a bunch of different ways to do it. Google for wmp and ffdshow (media converter). I know there are a few things to change, but not 100%, I do not use WMP.
