(Please move to appropriate section) moving on... with xmas fast approaching; my sister thought of getting an xbox for xmas. but asked me if would be able to play movies on it from a usb flash drive. (movies from here) i know can play on a ps3 but is there too much rooting around to be able to play movies on xbox? a detailed tut? thanks sythy2

	Posted: Fri Dec 03, 2010 05:19 Author: reno.99999 Yes you can play from usb drive or by streaming. The new dashboard makes it so you have to be connected to play from either though, even after instaling the media update. This is new I guess as a way to keep banned boxes from playing media.
