and saved quite a bit of cash.
It all depends of what you want to do with it. As a download freak I depend mostly of storage, I currently have 2 1 tb hard drives and 2 2tb hard drives and still runnin out of room.
HP seems to make great machines but i think they are sold with way to much BS programs from the factory. |

agree there
best you simply go into a pc store and get on built yourself
you would be amazed how much you can get on built similar to close to half the price
that way if something does got wrong they will fix it there and not send it to the manufacturer |

Why dont you keep the one you have and just buy a new M/B and processor, maybe update the memory too, you save lots of cash that way...the upside is you dont need the pre-installed O/S with all the
bloatware either..which you have to spend hours getting rid of.

Ok, all i'm saying is, if you buy a store bought PC, your going to get last years technology at this years prices, plus all the crap that goes with it.
Think it through hon, there's plenty of peeps on ET who can, and probably will, be glad to walk you through a setup if you just buy the hardware you need.. |

In my opinion the difference between the i3 and the i5 is neglible, Intel are just rushing these chips out onto the market because AMD is a far better processor all round.
With AMD, there reliable, there fast, there overclocking abilities are far superior to Intel, and the core temp stays steady all the time.
There will be those that disagree, but you wanted an opinion, here's mine.
