| it really messes with ur head when you want to donate and then this window opens asking for name,address even phone number...wow
other sites just ask for site name..donate ..done
is it possible to change the donation set up to make it less traceable?
i ,for one, would very much appreciate it..
anyone else have thoughts on this?

If you used a credit card they need that info for the bank but that is required to make the transaction

I too am very bothered by this. I do not understand why all the personal information is required. No other torrent site's request such information. I am very worried this information will fall into the wrong hands and then getting screwed. I think this form when making a donation should be removed.

| Posted: Fri Jan 28, 2011 15:44 Author: Anytime you use your credit card on-line you must give personal info. As for pay=pay no you don't have to give the personal INFO again, they already have it. You cant just put in a C/C and say Tom Smith and charge this number. Checks and balances will always be in affect, if you really want, get a pre-paid card/gift card with no name, and just use a fake name when putting down info. |

| it is 5.10.2011 and i have just made another donation...
i use paypal...i donate to other sites as well...and no one...not karagarga,gormogon,cinemageddon,demonoid....no one asks for this info...
and i don't need some tarty reply about using paypal and not credit cards...
i always use paypal
reprogram this...take it out...you don't need it....and it makes people hesitate to give u money

| Posted: Tue May 10, 2011 17:46 Author: SaM the page which asks for payment is not ET,its the payment provider (third party) page which is a secured payment gateway and a verified by verisign page ,and when u make payment using credit card u need to furnish those information but when it comes to paypal u dont have to put the real information of urs if u r not comfortable doing it
