How to add screenshots to your uploads

In this tutorial I will show you how to add screenshots to your video uploads.But before we proceed you might wanna read those useful guides:

After you readed that you are ready to begin.
[]First step is to choose a good image host like leetch or imageshack(you can find the links in the first guide).
[]Second you must choose a good media player wich can make screenshots during a movie like GOM Player,KM Player or VLC Media Player.(you can find the download links in the first guide)
Now that we have a program that allow us to make screenshots during a movie let's choose a video file.In this tutorial I will use a Mr Bean file as example.
In this part it matters wich program did you choose to use.(GOM Player,KM Player or VLC Media Player).

If you use GOM Player right click on the file you wish to open and click Open With=>GOM Player

Now during the play of the video press Ctrl+G and a Advanced Screen Capture screen will appear
.When you are satisfied with the settings press the Capture button and a .jpeg file will be saved in the folder selected by you or by default C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\GomPlayer\Capture\

If you use KM Player right click on the file you wish to open and click Open With=>KM Player.

Now during the play of the video press Ctrl+A and a .jpeg file will be saved in C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\The KMPlayer\Capture

NOTE:Don't ask me how to make a thumbnail with KM Player or how to change the capture directory coz I don't know


If you use VLC Media Player right click on the file you wish to open and click Open With=>VLC media player.


1. Click on the play button to find the scene you want to take a screenshot.

2. Click the pause button when you find the scene.

3. Go to the Video menu, then Snapshot.

You will now have an image (usually in My Documents) of the scene

How to change the capturing preferences in VLC:

1. Go to the Tools menu, then Preferences.

2. Choose Video on the left hand side of the window.

3. Under Video Snapshots, you can change the place the image is saved, the format, and the prefix name and sequential numbering.

4. Click Save and restart VLC for these preference changes to take effect.

Once we took a snapshot with our favorite media player is time to upload it to a image host site.

Let's upload a image via imageshack.us.
Here an account is not necessary but to gain all his features you need one.
Either if you are logged or not browse for image wich you've just created then click upload and wait for it to be unloaded on server.After that copy the "Direct Link"and go to your video torrent(assuming that you already have a torrent)






Scroll down,press the save button and now you can see that the image was added...

Just keep in mind...when u uploading on imagesite......just see that u choose an option that says keep the screens size original or something like that....
