Dead space 2 help needed

Hi,

Am currently playing dead space 2 on pc. Unlike the 360 and ps3, the pc version has no DLC for it untill I cam accross a mod to enable you to open all of the conduit doors in the game so you can collect all text/audio files for a 100% complete. Now I have D/L this file, and been trying to get it to work for the last two/three days. The read me file goes like this......

!!! !!! DO NOT OVERWRITE DS2DAT0.DAT !!! !!!

Depending on your version of the game, you may need to do some file shuffling to make this mod work.

If you have a DS2DAT0.DAT, you'll need to rename all existing DS2DAT#.DAT to one number higher, eg:

DS2DAT0.DAT -> DS2DAT1.DAT
DS2DAT1.DAT -> DS2DAT2.DAT
DS2DAT2.DAT -> DS2DAT3.DAT
DS2DAT3.DAT -> DS2DAT4.DAT
DS2DAT4.DAT -> DS2DAT5.DAT
DS2DAT5.DAT -> DS2DAT6.DAT
DS2DAT6.DAT -> DS2DAT7.DAT
DS2DAT7.DAT -> DS2DAT8.DAT
DS2DAT8.DAT -> DS2DAT9.DAT
DS2DAT9.DAT -> DS2DAT10.DAT

Then extract DS2DAT0_CONDUIT4PC.DAT and rename it to DS2DAT0.DAT.

Play game.

Heres the problem. When I go to the dead space folder located c program files(x86) then to EA games/dead space 2 I have DS2DAT 1-5 But in the read me its DS2DAT0.DAT etc,that confuses me already, so I ignore that and just re-number as shown. I extract the DS2DAT0_CONDUIT4PC.DAT re-name and place in the folder along with the other DS2. But at the top of the read me it states DO NOT OVERWRITE DS2DAT0.DAT is that my DS2DAT0 or the one i've just renamed?
The uploader swears that this works but for the last three days I have tried every which way I can, to get it to work, but with no joy, so I've come here. The link to the file is above. Every comment says 100% working, so I'm not sure if this file is for a 32bit OS and not for a 64bit. I am running win7 home premium 64bit.

If any wise and knowledgable ETian has or is playing dead space on pc and has already have or thinking of getting this mod. please help or advise.
