My internet connection gets cutting off when the air-conditioning unit is running, it's really annoying because the pages takes a lot of time to load/view...any info would be helpful...also please advice on how to remedy this problem...THANKS...

	Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 15:25 Author: Big_A_Little_A Loads of possibilities here that could effect your internet Vs Airconditioning. first thing I can think of is your exixting electrical wiring in your home,it could be that the air conditioner is draining electricty from other sources or triping out certain things like your conection/router. I am having that type of problem just know(waiting on sparky to test electrical items),I cant have computer and TV on and turn on Oven,as the oven trips out all my sockets switching everything else off. Is your router near your air conditioning unit? try moving them away from each other incase its some type of electrical interference from the air con unit. Do you use a wireless connection? if so try a wired connection using a network cable. Does this happen all the time you swicth your air con on or only at certain times of the day/night? Contact your ISP to see if it is a router problem they might be able to fix or send out new router have a read of this only other similar issue I could find on the net http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?t=41290. Only other solution I can think of is to keep the air con off and get naked for using the internet?? feel free to send us the pics LOL. Hope that helps a bit

	Posted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 15:54 Author: prisak A pretty good reply Big_A_Little_A But there could be more reason when you run your AC in that case it consumed more electricity as compare to your sanctioned electricity load and having some Earthing Issue could be there.Because of Bad earthing (which should be less then 1 ohm)it effect the networking devices i.e. Router, Modem, Switches and causes Data Loss.It could be the one of reason which effect the Internet Connectivity while you running the AC. Its my advice to you to check the Earthing of your Home with the experts. Hope it will help you. Regards prisak
