Norton Security Scan
is even a proper AV just a security scanner
have your read how to remove it from there page?
http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080415160906EN&ln=en_US
How do I uninstall Norton Security Scan?
1 Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2 Click Add or Remove Programs.
3 Click Norton Security Scan, and then click Remove.

peace of junk it is i just dl it launched setup and cancelled it and it still installed but remove with no issues
do a test on your pc download any freeware
install it then remove it
if still installed after removing it then you need to format pc
happened to me a few months back couldn't remove anything from pc
|
|

| If it's a win7 pirated tell your friend to install Microsoft security essentials it works like heaven..and doesn't hog resources...and stay out of trouble of formatting.because if you format everyday your hard disk get's scratched just like a CD and the reading won't be as effective as it was once.. |

Yeah but if it does the job then who cares, at least things are back to normal with minimal damage and the least effort to do so, my life is too short to play games but that's just me lol |
