| Posted: Mon Apr 11, 2011 21:59 Author:  By default, Windows 7 dont care about your multi-core CPU
but it can be changed.
1. Go into start, type msconfig.
2. Click on the boot.
3. Click Advance.
4. Mark Number of proccessors and select the numbers that correspond to your cpu
2 for dual-core and 4 for quad-core.
This should give a small speed boost, try or not, with me giving it a bit.

| Posted: Mon Apr 11, 2011 23:23 Author:  Tell u what do some benchmark tests before and after the change and see how much the diffrence isent, it's only for qwiker boot times that section.I have it set like that and I seriously dont see and diffrence with encoding times or in the benchmarks.

this is the importen hard true fact win 7 dont care
nr2 guide are to help ppl 2 maby get more out off there PC when we know this is what win 7 do
also like i said i got abit more out off doing it

Well I dont c it and as it's in the boot section that speaks for itself,but suppose thez lots of diffrences in setup that it could alter everyones setup is diffrent.
