|  Posted: Mon Apr 18, 2011 18:19  So I am running 3 and have been for a long time, never any problems except for the usual user error. All of a sudden it locks up during burning. It converts fine and I can go into already converted projects and try to burn from there and same thing it writes "lead-in" shows .01% complete and then just hangs there and I have to reboot, can't do anything but. Can't open anything or close anything out without doing a hard re-boot. I have tried to re-instal after using VSOClean and nothing has changed???? Any help would be great, my other question is with the converted files menus and all can I burn them using another program(which)??? If I throw the vob file into vlc menus show up and everything just won't burn to disc???? I have updated drivers as well as both burners firmware. | |

| Posted: Mon Apr 18, 2011 19:01 Author:  I had an issue when converting gets to about 70% or so and then blue screens. havent found a fix for this yet but have been using roxio instead. But I like convert x better. | |
| Posted: Mon Apr 18, 2011 20:53 Author: Thanks to both. Yeah I can't figure it, the last good one I had was on the 1st. I was trying CTD's forums and first there were change your OS's. WTF??? But someone told me if I have the converted projects to use imgburn and it is working fine so at least I can burn now. Which is what you both said as well just different programs, so thank you very much. Still trying to find out what is happining but at least I can burn. Thanks | | 
| I've been looking into this,as I have had a few coments bout this happenin when converting one of my up's.
Sorry to say not found any reason for crashes yet,I have tried it with avi,MP4,MKV,M4v's,
and all seem to convert/burn OK it just seems that it hangs up on certain files,and I still cant figure it out the file that had a few issues with was http://extratorrent.cc/torrent/2399629/Black+Mask+2+City+of+Masks+DVDrip+H.264+%7BBig_A_Little_A%7D+%7BSamurai+RG%7D.html , I couldnt get it to convert with convertX,but other files encoded the exact same way work fine in convert.
This happens with bothh V3 and V4,
heres a few thing to try/look at that could helps,

| Posted: Tue Apr 19, 2011 00:54 Author: Thanks A....yeah I have checked my temps and all that is fine, like I said the converting part works no problem and that is when the cpu is really working at burn nothing really is happining CPU wise. Have a forum post over at VSO so will see if something gets sorted. For me it's anything I try to convert, all types all different etc. Will keep all posted if I find out something new. | |
