is a sequel to the RPG released by Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes in 2009, the action will take place a few years after the events of the first game. Our hero is now a member of the Inquisition, was tasked to find answers about sea monsters that attack merchant ships in port. The only people who seem to have learned how to avoid the dangers are pirates, but they do not collaborate with the authorities of any kind.

For those who have not tried the first game Risen, the action takes place on a volcanic island, called the Forbidden Island. November gameplay elements make their appearance, such as browsing or using firearms or the possibility of control of certain elements of magic.

If the first title was released only for PC and Xbox 360, Risen 2 was announced for PlayStation 3.
